Good folk of NSC, help needed. I''ve got a parking space at the university for tomorrow's game but not sure how to get there! Do you turn left at the roundabout at the top if the slip road off the A27 or is there another way in?
Thanks in advance.
I was one of the Boundstone lads that used to hang about down West Street during that time. We were the first and few Casuals at Boundstone. Happy days!
Hope not, as luck would have it I am working in t'north for a couple of days and my hotel is just down the road from the ground. I will pop along tonight and sample the atmosphere! Can't beat live football, whoever it is.
It's a UEFA rule that you cant have fans within a certain distance of the touchline for European games, 4 or 5 metres I think. Some older stadia like Old Trafford and Anfield have seats that are less than this distance and therefore cannot sell seats in the front rows depending on the distance...
Why blame Paul Barber for charging NORMAL ticket prices, prices that were agreed before he arrived. Ticket prices have to be agreed between both clubs, I don't see moans about Newcastle, they have also agreed to this.
Where were the moaners when we charged the SAME prices for the last game...
Why should we reduce the ticket prices because it's a 12.30 kick off on itv? Do Manchester United or Chelsea reduce prices when they are on the tv? No they don't. Are we charging the same prices for the next home game v forest? Yes we are. What is the problem???
How they get away with it is beyond me. Row 34, second row from the back. Sit down, couldn't see the goal at our end, stand up, couldn't see beyond the halfway line!
I had my 8 year old son with me, not a chance of seeing anything.
moan over, now for some praise!
The Head Steward came up to me...
Really!
The song choices are because of the association with football songs, we are sailing/we are brighton etc.
YMCA, please, as if the gay stuff isn't bad already do you really want YMCA belting out over the tannoy, honestly?
Can I just ask, What do people expect from the transport? Do these expectations need to be lowered or just be realistic?
Do you all expect to have a train or bus waiting when YOU decide to leave the ground, is it that at the Amex we do not expect to have to wait at all for anything?
I have...
It was a Liverpool fan that died on the train and it was because he lent out of the window and hit a bridge or something.
No Brighton fans have been killed by that lot, that's just ridiculous! What a ****
My son is seven and he started going to Withdean at four, we have sat huddled together under a poncho in the pouring rain watching the likes of Cheltenham Town surrounded by a mass of empty seats. Losing 0-4 to Crewe, the list could go on. But still he wanted to go back time and time again...
Hello.
I am planning to buy a season ticket form me and my son for the remainder of the season. I understand that if this is done before the end of November then it will guarantee us season tickets at Falmer.
I noticed in a response to a previous question that you said the season ticket must...
Your 'tour' will consist of a presentation in the Marketing Suite and then you will be allowed to go to the viewing platform located behind the south-east corner, you wont be alllowed into the stadium itself as it is still a construction site after all.
The choosing of your seat will be done...
From a business perspective it is a really good idea. Those fans that only make one or two away games a season, we would hope that one of the trips they would choose to make would be to the Amex. When they get back they relay the experience and the next visit a few more come along, you can't...
Let's get a sense of realism here. The Albion are constructing arguably the finest (not biggest) stadium in the country, if not Europe, and with that comes the very latest technology which we would all expect wouldn't we? You don't buy a new car and then insist on having an engine that is from a...
Lloyds TSB are pulling the plug on Brighton, closing all offices in the city (keeping a small presence in Hove though) and making hundreds redundant, not sure sponsorship of the Albion is high on thier list!
