I don't think it has lost meaning, but I feel like it is getting hijacked by so many different groups for their own agendas.

UKIP is what BNP was 5 years ago. BNP gained momentum (and a seat I believe) and were a protest vote for many people and now no-one gives a flying **** about them. UKIP will suffer the same fate and by the next election the members will have already splintered off into other parties.
I like dressing up. I think you just got to not take yourself seriously, if you have dressed up and you aren't having fun then there's no point.
I've never done all that crap like trick or treating though, that I can't stand. I keep it to carving some pumpkins and having a drink.
With a guy like Poyet I don't think you can argue he was totally bad or good.
We achieved a lot of great things under him and considering it was his first proper managerial job I think he deserves praise for what he did with us. But it did always seem to me that he thought of us as the work...
I would say that most emails are the same, some might require them to be a certain age (like gmail). Just make sure you teach them to protect themselves, e.g. not to sign up to anything, keep a note of the password just in case etc. I think Barclays can give kids email lessons through their app.
I used to, until a woman threw it back in my face claiming it wasn't enough. It was the only time I'd ever got a reaction like that but it made me stop doing it.
I volunteer in a soup kitchen though, the people who come there are always really grateful and it feels like it helps more.
