Its all about risk , do you risk Knocky getting stroppy , do you risk Knocky not turning in a performance as has happened so many times in the last two seasons.
Its a balance between the risk Knocky doing something outstanding & winning the game V the risk he does something stupid & loses us...
Does this mean we get to rebuild the wall to keep the Scots from rampaging south ...
It will cost them billions if they did go it alone , the armed forces would leave , whats left of north sea oil would stay with England and the tax rises would drive everyone away .... but on the bright side...
I really dont know what people expect , we dont have the same level of backers as say Wolves & we certainly have not had their connections with a certain agent. We dont have endlessly deep pockets for TB to bring out a hundred million every season but everyone knows being in the prem is the...
Have to say I have never liked Man U , too big for their boots and think they have the right to look down their noses at all other teams. Half their supporters only follow them because they have been serial winners & barely any of the fans actually live anywhere near Manchester.
On the other...
I would make 1 change to the line up as at Spurs , obviously dependant on injuries with a slight change to formation , lets drop the 4-3-3 (4-5-1 in reality) in favour of 4-4-1-1. Yeah I know it wont happen as CH seems convinced 4-3-3 is a more modern system.
.................Ryan
Montoya...
Some people need to get a grip on reality , the Albion are currently bottom 8 material and have been all season just like the last season. Changing manager wont change the fact we are where we are , bottom 8 and its only by steadily building season upon season will we move up from bottom 8 to...
Well the old saying is "you dont always get out of life what you deserve" ... Albion deserved a point , great defensive performance again but just takes one second to score and we were undone.
Cant fault the effort & the desire , sadly we wasted the couple of half chances we had as looked like...
So far so good ... been a bit lucky & long may that last. Spurs do look open to the quick counter but in all honesty I would take a point now.
Clean sheet is the aim , nick a goal at other end is the dream ... fingers legs eyes and everything else crossable is crossed.
Would like to hope we can match the Wolves performance but a 1-0 would not be a disaster or unexpected (defeat anyway). A point would be brilliant and set us up for the Newcastle game in a better mood & although my heart says yes a draw is possible my head says home win but Spurs will have to...
Well one thing is guaranteed tonight , it wont be pretty , well not from the Albion.
Grit sheer hard work and some good lady luck needed and thats just for a 0-0 , a miracle or a way off the boil Spurs for anything more.
But I will still be watching either way and hoping for a special Albion...
The problem with inverted wingers is they have to check back onto their stronger foot. I understand the principle of playing inverted wingers but oh how I wish we had & used orthodox wingers who cross the ball as they are running. The other problem is March seems to play better on the right...
Still gets my IN vote for now ...... though I do think there needs to be some serious questions asked by TB & PB (and maybe DA) in regards next season & if the club can progress under CH or another person needs to take us to the next level.
Let the haters hate all they want , it may have been boring backs to the wall stuff but Wolves are no mugs & to get a point there is a good point.
For al those that wanted 'gun ho' football had we been open and attacking we would have been picked off and easily beaten by 3 or 4 goals , so...
So far so good , the haters are gonna hate BUT its back to basic's and get the defence right first and try gain some confidence.
OK so it aint pretty but its the type of football that got us to half way up the table earlier this season & hopefully we can keep it tight and try grab a winner...
I think Nathan Jones is better than Stoke , he inherited the squad & that squad has shown its not good enough. At Luton he built the squad over a couple of seasons & its still performing under their new man. Nathan might suit us if we are relegated and CH gets the boot but I dont see him as good...
Cant confess to being very confident , my heart says we can win and have a good record at Wolves but realistically a draw would be a positive , my head says we will get pummelled. The first goal is going to be important , if Wolves score first I really cant see anything but a home win , if we...
Could be chance of a valuable point if Arsenal field their second XI holding back the star players for the Europa Cup semi's .... a small chance but still any glimmer of hope is better than none
Hate to be defeatist but really cant see anything other than a home win , not got much confidence so 3-0 to Wolves sadly ...... I am usually wrong so hopefully will actually be a reverse of that scoreline
