Did the club worry about taking the 6,000 allocation at Villa in the cup when we were at Withdean? Or the allocation at Stoke? Did they sit there and think ‘We might have 1,000+ unsold tickets, so we won’t take the lot’? Clearly they didn’t and they didn’t really have a pot to piss in then, but...
I think if they were that sympathetic, they wouldn’t charge the season ticket holder extra for an evening game they couldn’t attend.
I have a season ticket holding friend who can’t make midweek evening games. By 16-17 games on a Saturday, I meant that fans buy the ticket believing that those...
5,000 probably, but I think that would be right considering the distance and kick off time, we did the same a few years ago when there was a nationwide blizzard going on.
Didn’t someone from the club say ‘Tottenham wasn’t selling well because it went to members’? Surely that’s bollocks? Someone...
Fan buys season ticket when 16-17 games are on a Saturday. 10-12 of those games get to moved to an evening kick off. Fan can’t make evening games, leaving them with about 5-6 games to see all season. Fan wants to share his ticket with friend but doesn’t think it’s right that they should have to...
Bunch of wankers.
Whilst I was waiting in the train queue, they started with the homophobic stuff, which was hilarious and so original to them.
It seemed as though I was surrounded by them, then it started to kick off with an Albion fan laughing in the face of the Chelsea ‘Stone Island’ boys...
Tired of them underestimating our support. They did the same at Liverpool and Norwich.
We’ve sold out every away game this season apart from Burnley and Everton.
Find it strange the club wouldn’t take the full allocation (if that’s what they had to take) as it’s a new stadium for many...
I know, I just put that in there for anyone who wanted to reply ‘Well, the club took the travel situation into account on making this decision. It probably put a few off, but I still would’ve thought we’d take at least an extra thousand on top.
Must be a lot of annoyed members. I suppose some...
We only took 5,700 tickets :ffsparr:
We took 5,000 to Old Trafford when there was a nationwide blizzard going on ffs. So obvious we would easily sell 6,500+.
I reckon loads of fans held off buying for the other blocks to become available. Quite staggering how the club has so little faith in...
It’s an interesting point, I think that maybe the ‘old school’ fans were louder and they have gradually faded away. The Palace lot that came to The Amex in the first few seasons seem a lot different to ones that turn up now. They have a lot more younger fans, but they just aren’t as loud, it’s...
Well, I wouldn’t say it was one of the North Stand’s loudest night, but there were songs going on all the time, about 3 at one point  So, very hard to hear anything from anywhere else. Think I actually properly heard Palace twice, once was after the goal and even then it didn’t seem...
Barely heard them all game, could be because I was in the North Stand and there was constant noise.
I know they had about 500 less, but they were nowhere near as loud as Everton were when they scored.
I assume you’re joking
If it was me, there’s no way I’d pay an extra £20 for a game I wasn’t attending. Ticket’s already been paid for, so club not losing out on any money. Actual crowd would be much bigger without the sharing scheme and so would the amount of spending in the stadium...
Every time Friday’s game gets quite close to a sell out, they add more seats! Makes you wonder why those tickets weren’t already on sale in the first place.
Just the other day they added about 7 or so in the WSU, they also opened a small part of S1F and today they’ve added a block of 16 right...
It’s winnable, especially if we’re backed by 8,000. This is what the cup’s about! Hopefully it’ll be a normal Saturday kick off time, unlikely though, I know.
Could be the stuff of legend. Bring it on.
