Sorry to add this, but if you had never watched a game of football how would you form an opinion? That is not exactly a strong idea to compliment your argument.Sorry to add to this but you don’t need to have ever even watched a game of football to know Cashin isn’t, and never will be, up to this level of football. Weird why some people are finding pointing that out so challenging.

Because you would be able to tell he doesn’t have either the physical attributes or ability. Just a couple of weeks ago I was at a Champ playoff game with some people who’d hardly watched football and they clearly identified who the decent players were (and those who weren’t)Sorry to add this, but if you had never watched a game of football how would you form an opinion? It won’t. He will never contribute meaningfully for a club in the top half of the Premier League.I hate keyboard bullies.
So hope that comes back to bite you. And you don't have to know anything about football to know that it just might.
Well, being a literal kind of person, you have changed your statement from 'never' to 'hardly watched football'. Either way, it seems a poor metric to use. I will reserve my judgement until we see more, if we see more, there is simply too small a sample size of him playing to merit such condemnation.Because you would be able to tell he doesn’t have either the physical attributes or ability. And I’m not bullying at all. He’s not up to this level. That’s all I’m saying. He isn’t.
No. I'm always right.Going against the grain here, I enjoy Dwayne’s take on players, not sure why he’s being vilified. He’s been proved wrong a few times but haven’t we all?
Fair enough, but plenty of fans bemoan the lack of loyalty from players. No wonder a lot want to leave as soon as they get a better offer from a bigger club with more money etc.Seriously though if cashin can't handle that then he should probably just find himself a nice 30k a year office job. I'm sorry but hurty words comes with the territory of being a footballer. I won't be deleting any posts for snowflakes.
In that half season with us he probably earned enough to retire on. Despite playing very very badly for 20 minutes. In addition he has a 5 and a half year contract , even if he's on a modest 30k a week epl salary that contract is worth 5.7 MILLION POUNDS.
Sorry to add to this but you don’t need to have ever even watched a game of football to know Cashin isn’t, and never will be, up to this level of football. Weird why some people are finding pointing that out so challenging.
Jesus, this thread has been derailed in a spectacular wayif you want to slag off or defend Cashin great, but this thread should be about Kostoulas, no?
Any more updates on the 'Greek Boy Wonder' coming our way via Twitter, etc? (for those of us who aren't on it)
I mean, we- and I am as guilty as anyone- have managed to turn a thread about Pervis Estupiñan into a debate about the Barco sagaJesus, this thread has been derailed in a spectacular wayif you want to slag off or defend Cashin great, but this thread should be about Kostoulas, no?
Very true, but the question is, potential for what? To play, or buy and flip for a profit? Or loan out for repeat income loan fees like Sima and Scherpen et al.Obviously, his debut was unimpressive but he's played a grand total of 19 minutes for us across 2 sub appearances. The club kept tabs on him for years, have a wealth of data, and think there's potential. I'm not going to write him off yet.
More Greeks. £30m Euros for this one.
"very close...negotiating bonuses"

I don't think Chelsea have a young Greek forward to play alongside, learn English, acclimatise together etc.We will be lucky if Chelsea does not land this one. Kostoulas is the nr1 best young teen player in Greece at the moment. He is member of a promising new generation of players, the kids who smashed Scotland 0-3 a few months ago. The only problem is that he may find Brighton fans too...soft and quiet, compared with the madness at Olympiacos games.
Unbelievable that some think they can write a player off from just over 18 minutes of football!
Give them a couple of days and they will.I don't think Chelsea have a young Greek forward to play alongside, learn English, acclimatise together etc.
Some fans will write off players before they have even SINGED for the club, let alone actually got out onto the pitch!Unbelievable that some think they can write a player off from just over 18 minutes of football!
Someone should have told O’Riley and Kadioglu! The only problem is that he may find Brighton fans too...soft and quiet, compared with the madness at Olympiacos games.
That appears to be exactly what Fab has done though.Unbelievable that some think they can write a player off from just over 18 minutes of football!
