Meanwhile the (highly unreliable) Express are hypothesising over a Chelsea bid for Joao Pedro with Tosin Adarabioyo or Levi Colwill coming the other way
With Colwill being on £100k a week, a long contract and a Chelsea regular, why on earth would he leave that to come here?

Don’t see it at all

Colwill doesn't make any sense, not after we've just brought in Boscagli and Cashin, with Igor at the club too.

I would have been happy to see Colwill back, but Boscagli isn't coming here to be back-up to anyone, and I'm already looking forward to seeing Boscagli and his passing prowess.
As suggested, The Express is a highly unreliable source

He probably just a bit faster then Van Hecke. Everything about or signings and the players we are looking at suggests we may move to a back 5. Estupinian or Cuiabono on the left WB, Boscagli lcb, Gila/New signing at Cb, JPVH at RCB and Wimmer/Kadiaglu RWB. We also have Lewis to come in and Webster who can play across any of those three areas. Dunk in the center playing against teams who like to cross the ball in. Veltman can play the RCB also. In front you would have Baleba and Ayari, then (hopefully)Mitoma as a left sided forward, Minteh as right sided with Rutter/Gruda playing as a false 9 or Welbeck playing up front on his own.
This is what I’m thinking. Will deal with the potential departure of Mitoma better than trying to find a replacement.
Pervis on the left and Ferdi on the right to give us width.

Interesting, but most likely completely unfounded speculation, unfortunately. They probably plucked Colwill’s name from the fact that he has been mentioned on here.

Colwill would be a player I’d happily do a straight swap for. Although in PSR terms, Chelsea would probably want us to pay an inflated fee in return for similar for JP.
Apparently we have been interested in Tosin before and Chelsea also have a very good CB prospect playing on loan for Juve.

He's been at Real Madrid, now playing in Olympic Stadium Rome for an Italian club with a rich pedigree.

I doubt he's sitting in Piazza Navona dreaming about playing for us or Muff.
Bit like Dean Huijsen didn’t dream of playing for the Muff when he was at Roma or Juventus, presumably.

Tosin is pretty average. Chelsea only picked him up because he was free and they were desperate for experience.

As for the other one, I’m guessing you mean Renato Veiga. Was deemed a strange signing for Chelsea when he moved there from FC Basel as he wasn’t generally thought of as future PL material, but seems to have done well at Juventus to the extent that they want to sign him but “can’t afford Chelsea’s €50 million asking price”.

Veiga might be more suited to us than Tosin, I suspect, but I doubt we’d want to pay anything like that sort of price. Especially not to THEM.

Suggestion we're not big enough for him...

If the club had any sense they would arrange to meet him and agent in that restaurant kitted out with Albion memorabilia’ courtesy of the @jackalbion incident.l to show how big time we are
