You raised this back in December as part of some ridiculous idea that the city should be renamed, there was a petition and everything.

You’ve linked a page on Reddit that is about Brighton and Hove not appearing on Google Maps and this is somehow Wikipedia’s fault?
And yes the Google Maps thing did come up in the thread you started about changing the city name.

Why should it? I know where Brighton is. People who don’t know where Brighton is will find it by searching for it if they need to.
Im 99.9% certain the city has never missed out on tourism trade and we’ve never missed out on a signing because Google Maps doesn’t label Brighton and Hove when people are randomly scrolling around.
Wikipedia is user maintained and edited. Any false information on there can easily be changed. What that has to do with Reddit and Google Maps is still a mystery.
