Michael Monroe at the Concorde last night was f**king class. Cannot believe he is 62, so much energy, still raw and still rocking. Great night. Well worth braving the weather to trek down there.
Can he still do the splits?

I find it staggering the numbers I’ve heard people are paying to relive those experiences this summer. Oasis were already rubbish live by the time I saw them in the late 90’s. Goodness knows what they’ll be like nearly 30 years later.

Was laughable that some wanted them at Glastonbury. Their last appearance there was WOEFUL. Treated the festival with contempt.

Still, I think most are going to the gigs for the nostaglia blast this summer, and know they're not going to see a band at their peak or anything close.

Got a Wet Leg ticket for the album launch. Hope better sound than at Brixton. Bloc Party and English Teacher the day before. Not bad!!!

Not a lot of room on the C2 stage, but I'm going to say yes!
As an aside, Hanoi Rocks, at Portsmouth Pavillion (i think this was the name) should have been my first ever live show. Vince Neil put paid to this.

Throwing Muses at Chalk tonight cancelled. Kristin Hersh has lost her voice.

Fortunately they've managed to rearrange it for September.

Was really up for this.

Oh well.

If anyone is looking, seetickets have put up a few tickets for tonight’s sold out MJ Lenderman gig at Chalk. I’m looking forward to it, despite middling feedback I’ve heard from people regarding him as a live performer.

Hopefully she'll be fighting fit when I see them at The End Of The Road. Another great line-up for a fantastic festival.

I love EotR, but not quite so convinced about this year's line-up. We went in 18, 19 and 21, all of which look better to me. Mind you, you tend to unearth some gems while there, so I'm probably wrong.

For those that went, thoughts on MJ Lenderman? He sounded great (I’d heard he’d had issues with his voice in the past). However I thought for such a long set (100 mins) it was too front loaded with ‘Manning Fireworks’ tracks. I’d have spread them through the setlist more as these were the songs that primarily everyone wanted to hear.

Anyone had any problems with getting money for a ticket sold on Twickets?

I sold one, transferred it to the buyer on Dice as requested and heard nothing , even though the gig has come and gone...

Status on page is 'Waiting for fulfilment'
