Great performance from the women

Bizarre that five players were told they would be released this week . Doesn’t sound a good way to handle people

All out of contract it seems. I'd be amazed if Thorosdotir and Bergsvand weren't off offered new contracts. The wife will be happy Bergsvand is off mind...
Can understand why the others weren't if we are wanting to push on. A call out to Stefanovic who always made time to talk to the fans.

I imagine that the players were offered new contracts but decided to look elsewhere. That's not uncommon in Women's football. Shorter contracts, relatively lower wages means the players tend to "re-home" themselves at the end of their contracts.

Sad that given the younger fans start to build a rapport and idolise some of them. I imagine Kirby and Parris came on bigger bucks which reduced the budget somewhat. Let's hope we get them a home in Brighton which should bring in more money.

Not quite so alarming as I see 5 of those were nat in starting eleven.. Opportunity to improve squad. Lets face it there have been many disapointing performances

Tremendous game and result. From the off, you could see that they'd been instructed to stop willying around at the back. So many goals conceded this season trying to play out. We looked superb on the break-away. Some tremendous defending, and all four goals deserving of merit. Looking forwards to the diggers moving in next door to the Amex.

I think the team will benefit from an end to the summer turmoil each year with the number of players who leave. In truth, I don't think we'll miss any of the 5 and that includes the beautiful Poppy Pattinson. Incredible result for the women yesterday and almost certainly finishing 5th is a huge step forward, congratulations to them!

Not easy to get into top 4 when you look at the competition so 5th is excellent.
