Always, always the "other" player is better. Buonanotte and Enciso seem to have become our potential world beaters since leaving and if they were to come back we'll have to find someone else to fulfil the "if only we had x" position.Unfortunately, Enciso and Buonanotte would have been far better options today than Adingra and O’Riley.
I only watched till half time, but came to the conclusion that the Pawson would cost us the win. Seems I should be a clairvoyant.
Yep said this too. Although doesn’t help that Bart is either capable of kicking it out for a throw, or straight down the middle. Nothing in betweenI thought we done ok. The only real negative was how easy we made things for Dan Burn today .He doesn’t play for us anymore ! Put in high ball after high ball at him. It baffles me that this was not recognised by so many people
And to get into the Europa League next season we'd need to finish above one of Liverpool, Arsenal, Man City, Newcastle, Chelsea and Villa. That's without the potential resurgence of Man Utd and Spurs. As it stands could well be Leipzig , Porto and Roma in next years conference. It ain't that easy.
Yep same here. I would love to qualify for Europe again. And to get into the Europa League next season we'd need to finish above one of Liverpool, Arsenal, Man City, Newcastle, Chelsea and Villa. That's without the potential resurgence of Man Utd and Spurs.
I'd take one off games against Leipzig, Porto and Roma every day of the week than 38 games in the EPL.
Totally agree…Dropped points they may be but the Geordies will be fuming their winless run against us has stretched to five matches. #teamslikebrighton and that
It was a fairly clear stonewall pen. Pawson didn’t actually cost us the win by giving it.
youve got to be joking?Excellent game. Competed in an elite level game of football. Could’ve gone either way.
How have Newcastle fans managed to get into a 1901 lounge?
With zits!I was thinking more Princess Di.
He must thank his lucky stars he’s a footballer as he wouldn’t be getting laid otherwise. Also, hate Anthony Gordon and he looks like Dot Cotton
Why? It could have gone either way. Newcastle with a better squad and far less injuries and we gave them a helluva game and should have won it at the death although that would have been a steal. Two wins and a draw against them this season is not to be sniffed at.youve got to be joking?
I thought it was a pretty poor quality game from both sides. We had a couple of 'moments' like the super goal from Yankuba. But Newcastle edged it overall so we should be happy with the draw.Excellent game. Competed in an elite level game of football. Could’ve gone either way.
I’m adamant that today was our hardest of the remaining 4. Apart from being very good, they were the only side with anything to play for as far as the table is concerned.Slot has just said before their game against Chelsea he’s got squad players he wants to get to 5 appearances for a medal, and players to be given some game time before next season.
It will of course be tough anyway, but perhaps not quite as tough as it might have been.
The free kick that led to the Ayari hand ball though? It was a fairly clear stonewall pen. Pawson didn’t actually cost us the win by giving it.
No but he was the worst ref since that game at Spurs where we got a couple of apologies from PGMOL. The bastard gave pretty well every free kick decision to Newcastle. I’ll have to watch whether the free kick that led to the penalty was even a free kick. He seemed determined not to let us win that game imo.It was a fairly clear stonewall pen. Pawson didn’t actually cost us the win by giving it.
