As @Tom Hark Preston Park says - The book does. At the time, the club gave James access and advice when he was researching the bookI assume the books don’t identify Amex, Falmer or Community stadium?
and evacuating just that row ? Leaving the Poor bast hard sitting in the next row back for his bollox to be blown sky high.Enjoyed watching last night but mainly as wife & I were ripping the piss out of the acting and plot etc. If you were at the football and a copper in row in front said "it's Semtex" you'd be gone surely?
Not enough to let them use the Amex for filming though! As @Tom Hark Preston Park says - The book does. At the time, the club gave James access and advice when he was researching the book
This piece says Paul Barber gave James the idea of using the Amex for an incident.

I gave up on the books after three of them as they became predictable and samey imoI’ve read the first 18 books. Haven’t read the last couple - yet - as they are getting too repetitive and boring. MrsPGTips stopped reading a few books before me.
Completely agree about the TV series. They are pretty shocking - in a bad way. We watched the very first ones out of interest as we had enjoyed the books and there was the local connection. But we then stopped watching as the casting of the key characters is just crap and the delivery of the rather poor script is very poor.
We thought we’d give it another go last night as nothing much else was on that we wanted to watch … but it really wasn’t great. And as you say, not much in the way of local sights to get excited about.
I also had the misfortune of seeing that as well. Actors not capable of Stage Acting, couldn’t project their voices just shouting so they would be heard. Utter, utter garbage.Bringing his books to the stage doesn't seem any more successful. I watched "Picture you Dead" at the Theatre Royal and it had some of the worse over acting I had seen for a while.
Yep no more than coincidence in my opinion.I remember Thames Valley Royals but so much time has elapsed linking this to use of AFC Wimbledon’s ground is a long shot at best
Plus poor script and casting.just absolutely boring, poor acting, authors done well making a living from very few ideas .. same old,
that’s (they’re) a very low bar. Limbo dancing at its finestI thought it was alright tonight (well, compared to the Madame Blanc Mysteries or The Good Ship Murder)

Madam Blanc is surly meant to be am dram and tongue in cheek, I think the cast is pretty good , Robin Askwith and Sue Holderness play their characters brilliantly….i like it for what it is.I thought it was alright tonight (well, compared to the Madame Blanc Mysteries or The Good Ship Murder)
