No, they wouldn't hear me from the East Upper. But I didn't clap them off either, something I always do.
No, I didn’t boo, but I didn’t clap them off either.
Worse than that. I never got out of my seat, nor clapped (save once*) for the entire game. Not even when we went in front. Twice. I was that sure that they would at least equalise (twice) it just didn’t seem worth the effort to recognise the temporary situation. God’s truth. A really weird, and now I look back on it, deeply depressing place to be.
I was 100% convinced the team would let us down.
*The one exception? I clapped Baleba’s wonderful pass through their midfield, out to the left in the first half.
Yup. It felt very predictable and the second half was pony.I sympathise. Everyone could predict yesterday’s game, and that’s a real concern.
Like you, I didn't clap them off either. I normally do after a defeat, but not in a game like yesterday's.No, I didn’t boo, but I didn’t clap them off either.

This with bells on. Exactly what I was shouting yesterday, that we needed to see a reaction and didn't.Yes and despite being a misery guts I don't often boo. That second half was a f***ing disgrace, as if the 2nd half last week wasn't insulting enough to the paying support.
It’s just a human emotion being expressed and helps people deal with frustration. I couldn’t give a shit if someone chooses to boo or not really. Brighton fans don’t have a habit of doing so without reason. Players aren’t so fragile to be affected by. It’s all part of the matchday experience. All forgotten by the next outing. In 63 seasons of watching the Albion, I have never booed the team off the pitch ( even when we lost 0-4 to Walton and Hersham and 2-8 to Bristol Rovers).
The players know when they have underperformed, they don't need booing to tell them.
Disagree to an extent. In 63 seasons of watching the Albion, I have never booed the team off the pitch ( even when we lost 0-4 to Walton and Hersham and 2-8 to Bristol Rovers).

True, we are now the club with the 14th biggest budget in the Premier LeagueThere are deffo some fans who see us still as the little old Brighton at The Withdean. To be honest, these people, if given the chance would probably prefer to go back to those times. It's like Leeds/Sheff Wed fans delusions of grandeur but in reverse. Knowbody forgets where we have come from, but we are a different animal now.
We must be slightly higher than that by now based on recent finishes and player sales. Wasn't we like 14th under CH when we first came up?True, we are now the club with the 14th biggest budget in the Premier League
Nothing to applaud?! I positively take my hat off never mind applaud to the players that have become multi millionaires for performing like they have over the last month or so! As con-men go, they’re the bestCertainly didn't boo. Never have, never will. But applauding? What the hell was there to applaud? Some individual moments of really good football, but overall mostly rubbish. And as it's a team game I think at the end if you applaud you're applauding the team and as a team no applause was justified.
