Nottingham, Aston Villa, Crystal Palace. In one week.

As far as challenges go, it doesn't get much tougher than that. Throw in a bit of Fulham and the ultimate nightmare would be complete. All these teams have a tendency to make things very nasty for us (and for teams similar to ours). We couldn't handle facing them in succession (and with one game being 120 minutes) and ended up with nothing. Too bad.

Now I'm not saying we're going to automatically beat the shit out of Leicester, Brentford and West Ham etc, because that would just be idiotic, but we absolutely have a better chance to get anything from these than anything from the teams we just played.

With one game a week, we won't see a knackered Mitoma limping around, stiff-legged Hinshelwoods & Estupinans in defense or backups starting due to fixture congestion. We will have time to rest and go 100% in on every single game left.

Maybe we won't go to the Champions League or even Europa League but I'm 100% certain everything won't be doom & gloom.
No need for collective depression.

Being Brighton, we’ll probably give ourselves a chance and then f*** it up…..watch this space

BUT we are established in the PL now and don’t look like being relegation candidates anytime soon. It’s still halcyon days to be an Albion fan, so we shouldn’t be too down that we’re not storming the league. It’s the hope that kills you

I think those 3 matches, against defend and break at pace teams, within a week, after internationals, amidst a spate of injuries, was always going to be tough.

Hopefully we can get back on track. I'd love to have veltman and webster back. Feel a lot more confident then, but the signs aren't hopeful for those 2.

5 points to get our second highest points total in the Premier League. It’s going to be a very disappointing end to the season we don’t achieve this.

15 points to equal our best ever points total in the Premier League. It’s would be a very impressive end to the season to achieve this - but not impossible.

We. Are. Staying up. I said we are staying up.

The fact that we can hope for better than that aspiration in the best league in the world is what I cling to during these "bad" times.

We are one injury free season away from greatness!

If Brentford and Fulham lose today then no real harm done. I’d like that.

I think we will pick up more points in the Newcastle, Liverpool and Spurs games than the Leicester, West Ham, Brentford and Wolves ones.

We seem to have a few individuals who like to shine in the glamour ties , possibly they see them as "shop windows" to sell themselves.

If we can get to 56 points plus we will have a reasonable season.
