Sad news, always an outspoken and sometimes irritating pundit, but what you saw is what you got.

Responsible for spotting the talent in Schumacher and giving him his F1 debut.

RIP Eddie, you certainly lived a full life.

Not being a follower of motor racing and only having a passing knowledge, for some reason I was picturing Bernie Eccleston when I was reading this thread and so was puzzled by all the positive comments.

Ive just realised my confusion

The only time I ever saw him in real life was when I passed him in his open top car, with a very obvious personal number plate (EJ04DAN, or similar) surrounded by several blonde women on a sunny day looking like he was enjoying every moment.
