The 57th state?

The Sun and GB News have reported that King Charles will offer the US associate membership of the Commonwealth during Trump’s state visit.

I won’t link to either, but you can find the reports in Google if you want visit these esteemed digital rags.

Trump has posted about this on Tr*th Social (I won’t link to this either), saying “I love King Charles, sounds good to me”.

This raises two important questions. By the time this is finalised, will the US economy have already fallen into bankruptcy? Could we then offer £1 to purchase it back?

From the FT, https://www.ft.com/content/7bbb477a-0bf4-4222-9e28-817c2ae996ec, sounds like he's discovered degenerate art

In between trying to end the war in Ukraine, picking fights with judges and refashioning the federal government, Donald Trump dropped into the John F Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington this week — his first visit since installing himself as its new chair. Trump has promised to rid one of the US’s leading arts venues of “woke” influences, “drag shows” and “other anti-American propaganda”, and usher in a “Golden Age in Arts and Culture”. “We have to straighten it out,” he told reporters on Air Force One on Sunday.

This is just incredible. US immigration have mostly been obnoxious arrogant bullies for years, treat everyone like shit, especially if you are black. What this woman and the others she was incarcerated with went through is something out of a Russian gulag. Trump has given them free reign to behave how they want and make lots of money doing it. Unbelievable.
How long before the UK and other countries change their travel advice for the USA to only travel if essential, to avoid situations like this.

Krasnov will want to keep things relatively sane in the US until after the World Cup where he can get massive narcissistic supply and act like the golden god emperor of all.

Once that is out of the way with mid-term elections months away is when things will get really ugly.
He and his associates are hard at work with their voter suppression activities for the mid-terms, including plans to take direct control of the postal service so they can manipulate mail-in votes.

There is a problem with married women voting as their name doesn’t match their birth certificate, in some states as different documents are needed.

Until the US are eliminated at which point he'll have a massive strop and call it off, deporting the team eliminating them to El Salvador for unamerican activities. The next Ryder cup is being held over there later this year. That could be interesting if Europe start to do well.

Don’t worry, Donny will have his clubs handy. He’ll probably insist on playing, he is a tournament winner you know.

Russia has ritualistic elections like clockwork. This will be Trump's aim in the US.
Which just goes to prove that democracy -- despite popular belief or, put better, courtesy of anti-democratic belief -- has very little to do with elections, but has plenty to do with what Putin won't allow such as popular protest and other modes in which the demos exercise their kratos

Given that people arriving in the States are now being detained if they’ve criticised Trump in the past, probably best for everyone on this thread (except Spence and the Dingo) to avoid going for the next few years

Three members of the UK Subs were barred entry to the US as a result of them having expressed criticism of Trump. The only band member they allowed entry was the vocalist who had to perform gigs with a stand-in band...

Anyone defending Trump on this forum does not understand the concept of freedom and quite frankly I find it offensive that some posters in here find that celebrating a rapist, a liar, a serial cheat in business as well as his personal life is some sort of hero. The thought police are now sending people from the US to El Salvadorean prisons for absolutely nothing at all. It’s a disgrace and offense to anyone who appreciates freedom and freedom of speech.
