Minor criticism - more distance between the eggs and the beans. I may want to mix them, but I want that to be my decision. Use the sausage as a breakwater - but I'm nit-picking. On the whole very good effort, 7 on 10, let’s make love.

I used to love baked beans but that are full of shit aren’t they? Best off with eggs and bacon
I like the mixed beans. In a baked bean sauce but a few different types of bean in there.
When I go out for a fry up I always like the idea of beans but I usually leave 90% of them.

Are beans the new thing which are immensely popular with millions of people, but the Guardian-reading liberal NSC elite choose to shame?
If they were rebranded as "organically sourced Ethiopian haricots simmered in a rustic tomate reduction, infused with a symphony of aromatic herbs and spices, meticulously slow-cooked to perfection." it would be a different story.
Nothing wrong with beans on toast, good hearty, quick, cheap meal.

May I recommend Branston baked beans: similar to Heinz but a slightly heavier texture. I couldn’t have fry up every day but I rarely have a week without one

Have to make my own baked beans as we can't buy them here. Allows me to reduce the sugar significantly.

I almost agree with you. I can’t stand them with a breakfast, with chips and anything else, on toast or a baked potato.
However, they taste completely different with bangers & mash with HP sauce!
I like baked beans on a jacket potato.
But loath them in a grill up, the same with tomatoes.
Hash, bacon, sausage and fried eggs is my perfect combo.

I haven't eaten sausage and chips for years.
Sausages are either with mash or in a fry up, and chips don't belong anywhere near a fry up.

I'm averse to the misuse of adverse instead of averse. But I'm not averse to the sausage, beans and egg combo with bacon for breakfast. As long as there's no adverse reaction to the baked beans (see Blazing Saddles). Not so sure about the chips to be honest.

Classic meal as long as done properly…..golf club used to do a cracking version……excellent sausages, big chunky chips and beans in a ramekin to avoid unnecessary and unwelcome seepage.
Not sure why people are confusing or even discussing it with a ’fry up’. That’s a breakfast - SECB is a lunch or dinner.
