The strange thing is that at Man City and Liverpool, we were within touching distance of getting something from those games but Arsenal have looked a completely different class home and away , yet the might not win the league!
They are so fuckin organised, press high and are just miles better than us!

Thing is, we actually don't, hence our mid-table position having played a lot of the season without key players...as you well know.
If you truly think RDZ should 'walk', then I genuinely don't know what to say, other than "Pfft!".
And again, no offence was/is intended.
Something has changed, and it seems to have done so when this speculation about him getting a better job reached its crescendo...
Completely agree with this. Some of the comments on here are pathetic. We were beaten by a very good team. Only our second home defeat of the season and yet some are reacting as if we are relegation candidates.
However much pressure we were under by the ever persistent opposition we still played our style. I’ll always support that.
Some on here sound like over expectant Man United fans.
I expected us to lose, I even got it right in the NSC predictor for once. I also expected us to actually put up a fight and not roll over and lube up for them. That was as comfortable a game as they'll have all season.

A dodgy pen and 2 mistakes from Enciso and Gross devastatingly punished.

What's worse is our lack of cutting edge or ideas.

Arsenal move forward at pace, we always stop, check back and lose momentum.
All of that...plus when we lose the ball (as Gross did) where is the defensive cover? Van Hecke and Dunk higher up the pitch 🤦🏼‍♂️. We play our high risk passing game as if we're never going to lose the ball ... but we don't have AliMac and Caicedo any more.

Having blown it last season, Arsenal are clearly holding their nerve much better. Miserly at the back, secure in midfield with the addition of Rice, and trickery and pace upfront with goals from plenty of sources.

Losing to them in this form isn't a disgrace.

Albion are limping literally and metaphorically towards the end of the season with injuries and managerial uncertainty.

It's been a momentously ground-breaking season with Europe, but also one that's proving a tough ask on the squad.

Still, plenty of learning from experiences like today for the likes of Moder, Baleba and Enciso.

In the long run, we'll be stronger for it.

Arsenal were good but just like against Brentford we were predictable and totally clueless in the last third. I don’t understand why Gross takes every set piece. Did he put in one decent ball from them all game? Variety is something we miss badly up front, very frustrating
