[Sussex] Tips for lingfield racing on a busy day?

I’m off to lingfield tomorrow with some family including two old ones.

Has anyone got any tips for parking and getting a seat?

I’m half expecting ridiculous queues at the bar, am I going to spend more time queuing than watching the racing?

Last time I was at Lingfield the crowd was smaller than that of a Peacehaven match.

Thinking about it, racing on Good Friday? How long has that been going on?

Nah, I’ve just Googled it. The first EVER Good Friday meeting in the U.K. was in 2014.
Betting shops always used to be closed on Good Friday.

If it’s busy it’s hard to get a drink. I stopped going to racing as the big avents seem to attract the wrong sort, yobs in suits and girls with little cloths on, The last time at lingfield it was a hot day mind but there were fights kicking off here and there, this was a evening though.

If that’s all they were wearing I’m not surprised there’s a big crowd!
I get your point though, I haven’t been for years. Last meeting I went to was the Ayr Gold Cup about ten years ago. I used to be quite keen, I went to the Arc about 5 years on the bounce in the 90s
