I do wonder what the Jocks, Welsh, French etc would make of it if Nike tried this with their flag? Do people genuinely believe this has been sanctioned by our FA?
A. Of course it has been 'sanctioned' by the FA. The FA are the customer. Nike will have had all the designs approved by them before proceeding. Ridiculous to suggest otherwise.

B. It isn't 'the flag' is it? It is a cross - representative of the flag - but 'the flag' it is not. The flag is a red cross in a white rectangle.

I quite like the home shirt. The away shirt is all a bit training ground.

Won't it be great to see all these NEW flags of St George, with the town names on them, decorating the stands at Wembley and the Euros in front of all the beer bellies ? I can't wait.

Well done Nike / The FA. It's clear. You really do "get" football.

A. I’m not suggesting ‘otherwise’
B. Previous shirts had a red cross in a white rectangle on the back of them, which seemed entirely in keeping with it being the rear of an England shirt. What this meaningless mess is doing on the back of the New England shirt is completely lost on me. I think it stinks, I won’t be investing, I’m out! 👍

tens of thousands of kids will have to have one .....it's a barometer to see how much free money is left out there ....the F.A is one of the governments sharpest tools.

f***ing awful. Cannot change a countries colours to force agendas. I absolutely am into inclusivity, but this takes it WAY too far. It is a joke. It is the countries national shirt not a political/inclusivity token.

Will Bellingham look good in it whilst doing the following?

A) Breaking his metatarsal in our first group stage match.

B) Getting sent off for a moment of madness against the first decent team we play.

C) Volleying in a 25 yard winner against France

D) Blazing a penalty over the bar in a shootout against the Germans.

struggling to be really bothered other than to say i dont think in any way its a representation of the red on white st georges cross- which as we know is a red cross, anything that isnt red and vaguley cross shapped isnt a representation-its a different thing altogether. If the FA want to put something different on the shirt fine, but it aint a st georges cross unless its red and crossy-this new thing isnt red

As a member of the LGBTQI....... community that is part of the areas they want to be included-i think its meaningless. Stick a red cross on the shirt and if you want to makes feel wanted in football just do something about the racism, homophobia, and mysogeny instead, but that would take effort
