Delighted with that. And very pleased to see us grind out a result and use some sensible game management. Rather lucky with VAR on Moder’s challenge. If WBG’s was red then I’m shocked that wasn’t too (not complaining).
Feels like a huge result. Suddenly, a clean sheet, a goal and back in contention for the European spots. We couldn’t do a. Oracle Thursday could we? Could we?
Think it as an on field call - orange. But also think their guy should’ve had a second yellow much earlier so…

I tell you what that is a win and a half! Completely up against it with injuries and fatigue after European away on Thurs. Not pretty second half but huge effort from all of them 💙🤍
It's certainly was, and didn't we look fatigued. We need all the squad to put a shift in and they did. Young Bart worried the hell out of me with his kicking at times. But we got away with it this time. Moder was a lucky lad too, I was surprised to see that tackle from him after the long time injury he had out.
Hopefully all the yellow cards won't hurt us too much.

Might as well print this on the bloke’s headstone, of course he was.

"This was massive. We have been on a tough run and we needed something like that today. We changed a few little bits today and it worked."

"Clean sheet makes it easier because you only have to score once! We have a win under our belt and now we look forward to Thursday, where we need to score five goals and keep a clean sheet."

"We had a middle stage of the game where they got a bit of a head of steam but once we got fresh legs on the pitch we got control again. A massive win, we needed it."

Let's face it, we're not putting 5 past Roma on Thurs, and although it would be fab to beat them, the main thing is that we play well and don't get anymore injuries.
The League is (or should be) our focus now.
Not with 4 missing key players who have scored 28 goals between them this season...no.....and added many assists.

Forest fans playing the victim role magnificently - appealed for everything that usually wasn’t there. Fitting in with them employing Clattenburg that.

Disagree sorry 🤗. The next match should be our focus because it is the second leg of our first European competition ever.

I want our best team out there to play at 100% not 80% to see how far we are off the level. I want our best team out there because despite the extreme unlikelihood of us getting through, it is still a European cup competition. I want our best team out there because RDZ and the lads would get a lot of confidence from beating a big club like Roma. I want our best team out there because it is owed to all the fans who bought advance tickets and maybe travelling miles to attend. I want our best 11 out there to show pride and respect to our visitors that even though we are all but beaten we are a team that will die with our boots on.
