Fiddlers is very chilled. A few Brighton in & out over the evening, a few Scots pre-rugby, not wedged, no singing. RMA v LEI on the telly.

5 mins from our hotel so we will probably be in til we decide we need food or call it a night.

PS It's in a nondescript little side road without much street presence so easy to think there's nothing there.

I was looking for it and was drawn like a tractor beam to a different place on the corner. Turns out it's marconis!

Shamrock was fun earlier with the chanting led by JPVH’s family. Moved on to the Albert which got a bit busy with 100 + outside but it’s eased off now

Lots of Police by Spanish Steps and Piazza del Popolo tonight. Feyenoord apparently caused huge problems a couple of weeks ago and Police are on edge.

We had a verrrry hairy moment in a craft beer bar as 5-10 black clad ultras in crash helmets came into the bar to look around and see what was happening!
Was all ok but very on edge

Just been in Morrisons bar in Vatican area. good bar. We won’t drink it dry, and if you like whisky. Well it’s the place for you!

I would also be keen to know where to go for a drink. Fiddlers Elbow seems a long way away from the shuttle pick up, anywhere near it?

Standing in the way of control
Trastevere is the nuts and goes really late. Some of it’s a bit hipster (probably about 2 on the North Laine scale) but there are Molly’s-ish style places as well. Roma fans are class. Bar San Calisto half and half ultras and northerners on holiday - it’s a good mix for talking shit
