I'd finished my point, but then thought some muppet would make out that I was suggesting that people with mohawks need more policing, so I added (ie, having a mix of officers of all types) to cover it, but no, it hasn't stopped you.

People of all types need policing, often just because we're in marches protesting against the likes of Archer and Bellotti, and I think it helps if officers look like a mix of the population, as opposed to identikit robots.
And I finished my reply knowing you’d bite and waste time with a long drawn out reply 😂 Chill out Trig

I agree somewhat. The only reservation I have is that an old dear or someone of a more nervous disposition might be made uneasy.

There’s something reassuring about a solid, normal, no surprises, person turning up to help when things have gone wrong.

I see anything that could distract from the job in hand as a potential issue.

Sadly you could apply that to non white officers too.

Worthing
I’m getting seriously worried about my Son in Law. He comes from Luton , and knew most of the people in this week’s programmes.

To be fair to him, he went to school with a couple of them, and his Brother in Laws local is the pub where it all took place.

The pub landlord, btw, was in serious trouble when a fair amount of the CCTV I from the pub was mysteriously wiped.

The balloons seemed to be in the way as well, bit daft putting them up there.

Hard hitting stuff this, one minute playing pool, the next minute 5 lives changed forever.
