I can see Potter going to Palace although I think West Ham are still the most likely team to get him. We all know a lot of other teams want to be Brighton! He was getting good reviews when he was here and I believe Spurs had been in for him. People were talking about us even before Roberto rocked up and took us to another level. He will be on plenty of clubs radar. Doubt if it will happen before the summer though. Turning up to watch Arse v Pal and taking the Palace job next week wouldn’t go down well with his peers.

If he moves north, and it happens in time for 03.02, we really ought to roll out the red carpet for GPott and his band of merry men.

Obviously I get the vitriol but BUT we've had the greatest 18 months in club history and it's pretty much all down to GPott and The Todd.

Thanks Graham, now f**k off again.

It’s a relatively safe number after the Chelsea fiasco. West Ham fans on the other hand like Moyes when they win and want him out when they lose, an odd bunch of fickle flat cap knob jockeys.

After turning down Liecester et al, surely he wouldn't rock up at that chav infested dump in croydon? I mean, no skin off my back if he does, he'll just cement his place in history for all the wrong reasons. His legacy here was on shaky legs as it was.

I personally never really warmed to Potter. He was far too precious and as a fanbase we gave him an easy ride. The image of him crumbling into his seat in the Chelsea game lives in my head rent free. Total snake, enjoy Croydon.
Rule one of being a coach/manager never criticise your own fans. School boy error by the emotional intelligent fuckwit.

Never got the anti-Potter sentiment. Some on here have short memories. Potter completely transformed the way we played after Hughton very nearly got us relegated playing dire, ultra defensive football, which was awful to watch and didn't work. By the time Potter left (for a bigger club ), we were 4th, scoring for fun, and playing outstanding football. He was he that built that up - something which De Zerbi has benefitted from and taken even further. I really hope he doesn't go to Palace. He's exactly what they need and if it happens, he'll do very well there.

Selective memory. How about the speed at which he left, the speed at which he signed up his back room team (from us), how he showed no loyalty to Bloom who had recruited him and backed him……. And the lunacy he showed at Chelsea thinking he could gain the support of the top players via a flip chart (I’ll forgive him for that, it was funny!).

If it wasn’t for Potters start last season we’d never have made Europe. Was an incredible run.

And all his back room was hired by him except Ben Robert’s so hardly ‘stole them from us’

Selective memory of Hughton. The dire ultra defensive football was to avoid relegation after trying to play more open and attacking without the players to do it pushed us toward relegation. Also forgets the level of investment Potter got and still had us falling toward the relegation zone until the covid pause.

RDZ has never had a consecutive run that got us as many points as Potter did in those first games of the season before he left I believe

Our run from Southampton to bournemouth dec to feb matched that early run

No , I don't have a selective memory. Yes he went quickly but unfortunately successful Albion managers will always be attractive to other, bigger clubs in the football food chain. So carry on being bitter about his departure if you like ( a waste of time if you ask me) but it doesn't alter the fact that Potter did a great job for us.
