Wednesday best to be on the south coast for any chance. Even if it does snow very mild weather will be here by the weekend

BBC now forecasting sleet for the Sussex coast/town centres on Wednesday afternoon, which usually means snow for us.

Whilst the MetOffice are sticking with a completely dry week for Sussex.
Is this a BBC forecast (with a person) or automated?

BBC Weather ( Meteogroup ) saying a 30% chance of sleet, Met Office sticking with cold/cloudy and 5% chance of precipitation..

Auto.
I find these are more accurate, because Carol Kirkwood or the regional equivalent are literally covering 1,000's kms in a two minute slot.

Subject to the MetOffice interpretation differs here from the MeteoGroup.

You'll be watching this more than me, this seems to boil down to how far north the Channel's precipitation reaches, then of course which side of marginal temp's.

GFS still showing 2cm for Beachy Head, whilst the ******* NW Highlands will get half a metre
These are both showing the same data- i.e. the most recent GFS Operational run. Sadly it is in the minority (even with it's own ensemble) showing snow along the south coast. It's not impossible, maybe 25% chance. Most models have the precipitation either in the Channel or over France.

That’s what I’m seeing but only on GFS, some snow for East Sussex and Kent (Arras, Belgium, Lux may get a big snow dump from that).

The forecasting models show the Amiens area as getting 25cm of snow on Wednesday. Just 125 miles away
Ventusky is predicting a lot of snow falling in the Channel, and northern France, missing us altogether.

As has been the case now for several days, it'll come down to nowcasting (although this mornings runs seem to firm up that no snow will be falling on this side of the Channel) however there is always a small chance that those on or very near to the coast could see some snow flurries.

Blooming Germans, as nearby Aachen is to get a 24 hour blizzard.
