Especially pleasing after watching them beat Bolton when they all were singing “ we’re gonna win the league “

Reading vs Port Vale was abandoned as Reading fans invaded the pitch in protest at their mid week defeat to our academy in the EFL Trophy (actually it’s against their owners but it’s amusing to think our kids are the straw that broke the camels back).

Bolton vs Cheltenham was because of a medical emergency in the crowd.

Reading's League One match against Port Vale was halted after home fans invaded the pitch in protest at owner Dai Yongge.
Play was stopped after 16 minutes when hundreds of supporters made their way on to the pitch at the Select Car Leasing Stadium.
Sell Before We Dai, a fan-led group urging Yongge to sell Reading, had planned a protest at full-time of the match.
Last month fans protested at the Houses of Parliament against Yongge following sanctions imposed by the EFL, including a transfer embargo over an unpaid tax bill.
Reading have suffered a series of deductions totalling 16 points since November 2021, including four in August.
Play was held up in the third minute when supporters threw tennis balls on to the pitch.

Oh Dear😂😂😂😂

Pompey tw@s, appear to be repeating their well known and much loved decorations impression.

Coming down after Christmas.

1 win in their last 6 since 23/12/23.

Marvellous scenes.
YEAH but it was a very hard run of fixtures to be fair.

Orient (H), Cheltenham (A), Stevenage (H), Exeter (A), Bristol Rovers (A) & Fleetwood (H). - they don't come much tougher than that :ROFLMAO:

I hope they only make the playoffs, and continue their very impressive , and, I believe unique run in this country,

10 play off ties , over the years, and have never won a single one.
I do love Pompey's annual bid to avoid promotion. Tis a joyful sight to behold.

This year is a rather epic episode. One would hope they are in the automatics till the final day until the final chapter of 'Here We Go' starts again.

It's a bit like the the famous tag team events with Big Daddy where his weakling partner manages to clip his hand as he feebly makes it to ropes at the last possible moment. In comes Ernest and flattens both of the other wrestlers at once.

Only in reverse :ROFLMAO:

Why? They have been though similar crap to us and now are a sort of fan owned club. Good luck to them (apart from the bell ringer).
WHAT??

Award the game to Port Vale 3-0.

Portsmouth to remain down in League 1 if you ask me.

We do not want a situation where they are one fluky good season away from the PL.

Their fans have suffered nowhere near enough. Pompey is the first non PL result I look for. And I always want them to lose

Why the protest? He can't be bad as only the good Dai Yongge.

You have just quoted a post that’s almost 9 years old now - think we’re all allowed mistakes in our youth! 😉
