If you look at his career he only really gets attention by kicking out.
Very very strange turn of events, only a few years ago he was stuck his head above the parapet regarding homophobia in football.
Now having a complete breakdown regarding pundits... pundits.
What's particularly odd about the toys out the pram reaction to women presenting sport is that for years it's been dominated by male presenters/commentators who have never kicked a ball in an anger.
You introduce women who have actually played the game and Baron has a meltdown, whilst bringing into question diversity, equality and inclusion generally.
In any career you play by "their rules", just like football.
What a way to completely f*** any form of media career you may have thought of having you f***ing thick idiot.

2 weeks ago, he was ranting about SPOTY. On the NSC thread (post 273) https://www.northstandchat.com/threads/bbc-sports-personality-2023.405275/page-14, I posted that he had 2.7m followers on X.
A fortnight later, he's now up to 2.8m.
By giving him the publicity, they're playing into his hands and encouraging him to do more of the same. It's clearly working.
Ignore the troll. He's been an irrelevance for years.

Well, yes. I meant a more recent/rapid spiral that is very public. As I wrote before, he's always clearly had issues of some sort.
FFs, I’ve only just seen Barton’s comments. The female commentators last night at least had the ability/courage to speak their minds eloquently on the ridiculous sending off decision. Barton is (apologies Bozza) just a CU@T.

Not sure he's doing anything to be 'cancelled' from. He'll have his little podcast, which will still appeal to a certain section of society, so I'm sure he'll be OK in that little echo chamber.
