Not Millwall but back in the 80s one of the top bootboys for the NF was a chap called Nicky Crane. He ended up doing security for the neo nazi band Skrewdriver just to give you an idea of what sort of person he was. Turned out he was in the closet the whole time and died of aids in the early 90s.

Bit late to this thread but for some reason read it all this morning from start to finish. Did skip through the nonsense about about public school rugby though.....
Can't really get over the fundamental issue that any "fan" would attack one of our own. I didn't actually like going to football in the 80's because there was so much trouble and I was only little and got knocked off the stool my dad made us a fair few times and felt the crush of the crowd genuinely suffocating on many occasions - but anyway, one thing that was ingrained from a young age, because I saw it frequently was that we were looked after by our own. Never in doubt. And always felt reassured when surrounded by a good mob of our own lot.
Is this a generational thing or just one or two random bell-ends going against this. Do people still feel the same loyalty and camaraderie that they used to - or is it all a bit disconnected now.

I see that the culprit has still not been identified. I find this really surprising, unless he has already has been, and the case against him is being built behind closed doors.
I have only had two close altercations with BHA supporters, once away at Wolves in 2020 and one in WSL this season when someone took offence when I asked them to move out of the way whilst I walked my 90 year old mum home. The Wolves encounter I 100% guarantee he was on the marching powder. The home altercation, I hope he was on the marching powder as anyone who thinks he has priority over a 90 year old is a dick imo. For all we know, the club may have already dealt with it. It can't be a police case, as far as I know, because it took place in France, but the club could issue its own ban.
