Anecdotally at least, there seems to have been a bit of "there's no point / it's not worth it" vibe about before now.

Anyone decided that, perhaps, it might be worth joining in future seasons?

Nope, I still think £30 for the right to buy tickets is a liberty. Where does it end?
I still won't be bothering buying 'membership'.

Whats to stop Barber bringing in a Membership Plus Extra when there are too many plus members ?

Pros
I got one at the start of the season, and have used it to buy tickets for me and family for a few games. Was happy with the purchase as a levy for a new fan, you can get a single ticket for most games, its great.

Cons
Got one in March for my kid to sort him for Wembley as well as next season, and have been told today that despite being able to log in and see him as Priority 3, he's not eligible.

So i've gone from being a fan of it as of 9am today, to feeling really pissed off about it by about 11am this morning!

I think I will get one if we make Europe, as I'm sure that will be a requirement.

Most games go to the ticket exchange and I can still get one or two for the odd game I'm over for if need be with purchase history.

I used to have MyAlbion until Covid and then having a daughter. Signed back up this season. I live in Suffolk and before Covid went to two games a year. I went for the first time since 2019 on Saturday. Brilliant day, but tickets, travel and food did cost me £100 (just for me, no dependants). Whack £30 on top of that for a membership, and you can see why for some people it's not worth £130 to see the Albion once a year.

HOWEVER, in answer to the question above, my family and I's general consensus after the final whistle on Saturday is that we will renew MyAlbion every year from now on. It's just not worth missing out on occasions like Wembley, and even some of the other matches that may crop up on the few occasions I can get to Falmer in the school holidays.

Doubt that will help you as we will never get a European allocation of 34k tickets!! Likely the existing loyalty point scheme will operate.

I would, but living in Poland and only able to make one or two games a year hardly makes it worth it.

Home, you would likely need MyAlbion+ and loyalty points. But @Ali_rrr is right you would need MyAlbion+ as a minimum, without it no chance.

I think European away allocations are min. 5% - so there may actually be increased capacity for MyAlbion+ members at home, compared to EPL games. You probably still won't get one if you do 1 game a year, though.

Away, I don't know how many would travel (certainly not 34k anyway!). We have around 24k STHs but most don't go away often, if at all.

We *usually* sell out away in the EPL, how far it goes down the priority list depends on who we're playing. But not everyone who goes away here will be able, or want, to travel to Kosovo on a Thursday night. So even with lower allocations there's a chance 'non-regulars' will get tickets.

But again, I'd think MyAlbion+ membership is likely to be needed, either for security reasons or capacity issues.

Isn't it just great to be in a position where we're even thinking about this as a possibility, though?

You’ve then got Membership Plus Extra Ticket scheme with Added Priorities and Bonus points for a few quid more

I'm already a member as are my two boys but I'll definitely buying membership for my other half next season as not getting her a membership means none of us will be going to the semi final! Such a rookie mistake.

Existing members, so strictly speaking the question is not aimed at us, but; We are happy to financially support the club (in a small way) through our memberships. A bit churlish not to really given the amount Tony has spent.

I'd feel too guilty about her not coming and I'm not sure I could deal with the fall out!

Plus in all honesty, they're only young (6 and 8) so could do with both of us being with them for an all day out to London with a massive crowd, will be a bit different to what they're used to at the Amex.

As I say, it's my own fault for not thinking ahead. Her not being a member has never been a problem until now!

I've joined for next season, not for the Semi (although that would've been an extra bonus) but out of sheer frustration of not being able to get tickets, even on the exchange. Man U exchange is open but only for members or for season ticket holder guests. Not cheap at £62 for myself & jnr but someone bought it for me as a present.

My Mrs hates football, so no change there, you couldnt pay her £30 to want one......

For the kid, I feel gutted for him at an entirely avoidable situation..... a request to get him a membership (when he wouldve been eligible), on best advice at time, has now precluded him.

But as @Midget said you will absolutely need a membership of a sort for some European away games. Every away game here in NL for example is what we call a 'bubble match' meaning you have to go on club coaches and pick up your ticket in the coach. Face and ID info is on the ticket, no chance without membership will that happen.

Games in NL, Germany, Belgium and France will sell out for sure. Whether an away game in Romania, Kosovo or anywhere with a seriously worrying lack of vowels, will also sell out, is another thing.

I'm going to make a guess that there'll be an increased uptake of ST exchange tickets for the 5 remaining home games if we make it to the final as A+ members try and make sure that they have the best chance of upping or maintaining their priority level.

How do A+ points work?
Presumably you only get points for actually buying a ticket, i.e. not for being the recipient of a shared Season Ticket?
