Brighton factually.....
That’s the important bit. The ball is in Caicedo’s court. The agent stuff is irrelevant. It’s just more convenient for fans to have someone to blame other than their idol. That’s why players employ them to take the shit. It’s Caicedo that has to put this right, starting with the manager. Nobody else but him has anything to prove.
Managers office before training today then, quick chat, arms around him as they walk out onto the training pitch.
Slap round the head from Dunk, then a bit of piss taking and back too business

Eventually gave in to sleep last night as things were rumbling on - post-11pm papers lodged to still get deals done - with the hope that Caicedo wouldn't be included in these last minute deals (especially a panicky mega-bid in the final minutes). A big sense of relief this morning that Moises's "not for sale" remained thus. Apart from the loans out last night, there was the sale of big Shane, so am sad to see him officially leave the club.

Hopefully this morning's training session sees Moises keen to make amends for his agent-related f*ck-up, and a demonstration of how ready he is for the weekend! :ascarf:

Just seen on Facebook an article by Jeremy Wilson who writes in the Telegraph (of all horrors). It’s mostly about Mr Bloom, StarLizard and the importance of data and analytics, but it also stresses that TB is kind and caring and is careful that everyone is treated well, even departing players. It is also made clear that this is seen to make business sense, as it makes the club one that people want to work for and stay at.
All that would imply it will be made as easy as possible for Caicedo today.

In a place called ripped-off. I wouldn’t have even sold his hair for that offer.
Cucurella was barely a twinkle in his Dads eye when he first saw Marley play at the Goldstone whilst on a foreign exchange student holiday

Be interesting if Moises turns up today. Nobody seens to think he might create his own strike action?
He may be a footballer, with less than bursting cranial department, but I doubt he's that stupid. Even his current chosen parasite would advise against lowering his stock like that.

Thank you, I won £260 @ 11/2, only because you posted. I would never have thought of betting on a transfer.
I wish I'd seen that but I didn't know you could bet on transfers. Bookies must have been bonkers to offer 11/2 on him staying - Bloom and Barber made it absolutely clear he wasn't for sale. It should have been odds-on. Damn, I missed out on free money

I did wonder if the Twatter post might get removed when it became clear he wasn’t going. Hopefully he accepts the situation and comes back guns blazing to prove he’s worth the big move in the summer. We’ve gone through all the effort to keep him. I hope he doesn’t throw toys.

Hope they’re wrong!

[Less a later £40 stake lost, hedging so no loss if Arsenal had won].

Extra sweet … I deprived Gooners somewhere of cash, arrogantly thinking it was a sure bet on Friday evening.
Yes. Thanks so much @super-seagulls

I’ve won around £260 too after taking a mix of odds until I passed the £50 maximum stake. I was not sensible enough to hedge the bet but this was probably because I placed the money out of anger and upset rather than cold financial acumen.

@Weststander Has SkyBet paid out yet? My app is down but the bet is still open on the browser. Like Arsenal fans, it seems it’s very tough for them to accept Moises is staying!!!

The quality piss take would be him turning up for training and the rest of the squad wearing Arsenal tops :) Break the ice nicely and then he can put his head down.

The tricky question is whether he starts on Saturday which would in normal circumstances be logical as Macca suspended? However, Roberto might want to make a little point by initially putting him on the bench.
