Almost the best bit of the afternoon…..even from the N end of WSL the frustration was POURING out of the away end.
The away end was going ballistic in the second half, it was brilliant as the players knew the risk but had no choice after fan pressure, which opened them up even more!

But can you feel it, up there?

I love being in the gods at away games, "oh so that's what The Llana brings to the team".

But what I miss up there is being right on top of the action, from my vantage point halfway up the ESL.

Nobody had a better view of the 3 goals yesterday.
Or for that matter, Mac Allister s free kick (and disallowed goal), Ali J and Skalak's goals.

I reckon you could probably work out where someone sits just by their player rating.

what‘s the point of being “on top of the action” if you can’t see what’s going on? I was at the Saints game on Boxing Day and got a great view of Solly’s screamer, but couldn’t have given you any idea of what happened with the first two goals in the first half.

yesterday from a vantage point in WSU on just about the halfway line I had a great view of everything - all the beautiful people we played, and definitely “felt it” when we scored, when we had a penalty awarded and taken away, when players being substituted were roundly cheered off. Where better to be!

Taking of the away end, one of the most quiet I’d seen in recent years.

I’m in the north end of WSL so maybe masked by the better than normal home atmosphere but didn’t really hear a thing from the away end

Still buzzing in spite of the 'Liverpool were crap' analysis on MOTD. I give up, these commentators are beyond comprehension.....

Which Brighton player gave Allison the tap round the neck that made him collapse in the first half after he'd thrown the ball out? Seemed innocuous. Was he looking to get a player sent off?

And why did none of the highlights (BBC or sky) show Henderson's snidey, and very late, tackle from behind on Caicedo? Looked very bad in real time.

It was Lallana I think.

None of the MOTD highlights really showed individual fouls unless they led to a goal or good attempt

Must have been a few thousand that missed the first goal as they were still in the concourse. Very funny and serves them right 😆

Colwill wasn't it? Accidental, Allison bashed his head into his shoulder as he was throwing the ball.

And the Henderson tackle wasn't actually that bad on TV (bit of a harsh yellow in all honesty), but caicedo went over on his ankle so was in pain

Seeing it again on MOTD I thought it looked like he just over-extended himself throwing the ball out and fell awkwardly

Every 4 am Sunday morning in New Zealand is currently my happy place. Well worth climbing out of bed and waking the neighbours. An absolute masterclass today. The speed and accuracy of our link up play is simply unbelievable. Most Kiwis follow either Liverpool or Man Utd, so it has been a great day for a stroll in the shirt.

I am not a Brighton fan. Here for RDZ and Ferguson but Brighton played some of the best football I have seen in the prem in the last 5 years yesterday.
It is better to watch than Man CIty who I actually find very conservative. In terms of pure enjoyment of football De Zerbi ball is number 1 in the prem at the moment. I do think teams will just refuse to press brighton soon and be far far more respectful of brighton and just sit in a low block. That will be the real test for Brighton when it comes. If that test is passed no reason why Brighton don't challenge for CL football.

Liverpool are lambs to slaughter for RDZ ball. A team that invites a press vs a team that press like maniacs. They got buzzsawed :ROFLMAO:

No - they were very subdued even at the start. I think they travelled in hope rather than expectation which is crazy.

Out of interest, because seems a little odd you’re ‘here for RDZ and Ferguson’ as a combo, why don’t you follow a club or do you and if so which one?
