Everyone forgets that under Roberts, Ryan went from being a decent keeper to one who couldn't save a shot.
Sanchez going that way without Roberts, but worse - he's forgotten his main strength which used to be claiming corners.

We have. Steele isn't exactly a walking disaster. McGill - a bit of a gamble, but really no more than a gamble of putting Sanchez in in the first place (and Sanchez himself might never have got in had Walton not injured himself coming for a high cross). Or we could recall Rushworth (you know, the one that someone big in Europe (was it Barcelona?) was scouting).
We'll have to see if RDZ is more worried than some of the more worried NSCers, I guess. Probably not, I think.

Coaching seems to have changed. He keep batting balls to oncoming players instead of conceding corners. Fine keeper for our level if want to be barely top 10 (amazing). Needs time to become a borderline EuroCup level player. Hope Spain National Team time has done him good not made him big headed. Or more accurately complacent.
But only you have forgotten Ryan went from playing with 2 (two) brick walls in front of him.
At least one brick wall in front of them.
And everyone else playing 'they can't win if they don't score' football.
To, hey let's open this up more, remove 2 of the 3 brick walls and replace them with players who'd rather look nice than stop everything with their face.
Every single keeper performed above their abilities under BR.

He didn't have a great game, true, but I don't understand the he cost us comments. Of the four goals only the fourth was poor. Nothing he could do about the first two, the third was a decent save where the rebound could have gone anywhere. Unfortunately it fell to an Arsenal player that Dunk was watching from the comfort of his armchair, slippers on, pipe in mouth, newspaper on lap.
the one thing that intrigues me about him is that for such a unit who can be some dominant on crosses he does have a tendency to be a bit flappy/completely miss the ball. If he sorts that out he'll be pretty much the complete keeper.

Some absolute weapons on this thread. He's a had a bad couple of games, and people want to sell him, he is young and one of the best keepers in the league. We haven't spent all these years and money to develop him so that we can bin him off after a couple of poor performances.
We were playing the best team in the league without our two best players, I am not really sure what people expect of this team.
