I think they have access to some data over in Chelsea as well.
Must have pressed the wrong button when they paid £63 million for Cuca, unless Potter put the data in for that one.
If you look into Star Lizard, you might find something else out about Tony Bloom and Brighton and Hove Albion. I've no doubt Chelsea have some data; I doubt it's as good as Tony Blooms.

There’s good and bad data. You’re are highlighting another area of your Albion ignorance with this comment.

Have you heard the phrase that begins “a fool and his money…..”?. One TB is no fool, I do wonder about the American version.

Yeah and Brighton must have pressed the wrong button when buying players like Andi Zeqiri, Ali J and so forth. Or maybe data does not always translate into good performances in a different environment.

Pretty sure Chelsea have access to the same data as TB & his lizard company. You can have that data to if you pay up a few million quids a year. The difference comes down to how to use the data, to understand what is important and what isn't - and thats where TB and the people he recruits are among the best if not the best.

You know didley squat about Tony Bloom.
And I wouldn't be surprised if Zeqiri and Ali J were Winstanley's recommends.
Go to the Shed for heaven's sake.

I know a fair bit about data in football, which is enough for me to say that neither TB nor anyone else have any magical, unique data that no one else has.
Of course, all the bad players were Winstanleys recommendations and all the good ones was someone elses... as of today.

How I see it.
Most data is available, how you use it is the skill……

Imagine access to the raw data yes, but not the TB data model

Data means everything and nothing. Interpretation via analytic algorithms etc is what sets TB and his ex partner Matthew Benham apart and are guarded like the crown jewels. I'm sure the yanks at Chelsea will bring in a few Ivy league wonderkids to assist PW in his new roll.

Glad the saga is over, hope this draws a line under Chelsea only coming to us when poaching staff, and much thanks to all those who’ve gone for the work they put in while they were here.

I always trust TB/PB/DW to find a replacement who’s at least as good, and we fully intend to continue beating you in the future.

Not sure David Weir is Dan Ashworth level.
