To be fair, I got very emotional about losing Ben Roberts and Bruno. I couldn't give a stuff about some back room bloke pouring over stats all day long.

I will wait to see what happens in January, and hope that Tony Bloom ups the price tags on Trossard and Sanchez.
If Chelsea make any bids, then the Colwill loan becoming permanent should be the first item on the agenda. If they don't agree, end of negotiations.

I think Tony Bloom would be willing to negotiate with them. They pay up, unlike some (City with Cucurella, Newcastle with Ashworth).

But I don't think Brighton are going to sell any key players in January and probably even less likely to PL clubs. The summer window will be a different matter though.

Really? Based on Saturday I thought he flattered to deceive a little and jury still out.
Considering he's 19 and that was his first ever start in the PL I don't think he did that badly and was probably one of our better players. There is a massive amount of potential there and certainly worth us making him a permanent signing and developing him for us rather than Chelsea.

Not really concerned about this.

Winstanley, like many others, have been at an incredibly well run club at the right time for their careers. I doubt any of them are particularly special. I do not for one minute think that we will fail to replace any of them with equally competent staff for their roles.

There are a couple of individuals at the club that do seem to be special, though. Tony Bloom and Paul Barber. Losing either of these would be a monoumental blow.

Chelsea are absolutely desperate. I don't think they really know what they are doing. I hope they all fail miserably.

Without the benefit of Star Lizards data and number crunching of stats, will he be any good. I think he might of stuck lucky with Albion because of all the data he had access to.
Time will tell, don't suppose he has a lot to beat if you look at the performances of some of the Chelsea superstars recently

Argus saying seven figure package. What sort of contracts are these people on? Over a million quid for a head of recruitment. Not long ago that over a million quid for a player was amazing for us.

As I’ve said in a previous post, not a huge loss from within, and a few people having celebratory drinks to mark the occasion.

Many felt he was lucky to keep his job following previous misdemeanours.

I think they have access to some data over in Chelsea as well.

This is interesting, I didn't see this previous post. Where is it?
