    [Finance] Workplace pension. Help requested..

As many people have suggested, the employer has to sort you out but does not necessarily have to cover your missed contributions. I’d imagine it will be more likely, the greater the number of people they have messed up. Good luck! The Pensions Regulator

    [Football] Dissertation, please help!

Just made similar points when completing the survey: - chanting more or less died out in grounds but not that uncommon on trains/roads outside - it’s also appears to come out more when losing to “teams like Brighton” - which makes me wonder if we’re more sensitive when we lose?

[Albion] Fabian Hürzeler : nth longest serving manager

Seems inevitable, given that 20 have been replaced already this year; he might even be close to the top 30 by the end of May.

    [Travel] Japan via San Francisco

I’ve done the trans-Pacific a few times from my days in California. First thought is that flights could be horrendously expensive if you come straight home from Japan as they would be one-way. If I was doing this, I’d get two separate “open jaw” returns: Out: London-San Francisco + Return...

[Albion] Fabian Hürzeler : nth longest serving manager

Dear old Graham would now be third if some of us hadn’t tutted loudly at the end of that Leeds game. (with apologies if this is fixture-ish)

[Football] Man City WILL BE RELEGATED from Premier League, says Football Finance Expert

City’s Board may well be hearing one thing from their eye-wateringly expensive legal team whilst simultaneously protesting their innocence in public. But behind closed doors they ought to be planning contingencies. They’d have to sack themselves if they didn’t. It’s almost impossible to be...

[Albion] Albion 21st in rich list

It goes back a long way. There’s an excellent trilogy by Jane Gardam about a retired colonial judge who spent many years in HK. The first book is called Old Filth. Read more here … https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_Filth?wprov=sfti1

    [Misc] Elektra at Theatre Royal

I think the airship might have been Apollo … it went blue when Elektra was offering up prayers to him (honest). Brie Larsson good value in the lead role. I liked Clytemnestra - had a bit of nastiness about her. Orestes was terrific as the messenger but soppy as f when he revealed his true...

[Misc] Can anyone on here speak Latin ?

Happy to report that life couldn’t be better. This time last year, I was recuperating from a heart attack in Adelaide. Just a rite of passage: have heart attack, get stented, rest a bit, forget it happened, get on with life. Twice-weekly walking football is a way to celebrate life. Couple of...

[Misc] Can anyone on here speak Latin ?

Morning DrM … my Latin and English Language were graded 1-6 in 1974; A-C grades were introduced the following year. Always thought you were a bit of a swot until hearing about your French débâcle. Fond recollections of Latin ‘A’ level and a lunchtime Greek ’O’ level. I loved all that stuff but...

[Albion] FA Cup third round draw - Norwich away

I had a double on us to go up that season with that lot to go down. Cost me a small fortune, wankers !
