    Work Christmas Parties....

Christ I haven't read that for years. Dreadful. TLO thank you for this as it will be 10 years this Christmas. Perhaps I should go this year and have a special anniversary appearance. However - despite it being nearly 10 years I can still remember with complete clarity the state I was in the...

    Arrogance and Entitlement

I've made an effort to try and read your posts without leaping to any unfair conclusions. I can't. Whether it's on purpose or by accident you just come across as a sour-faced, pedantic whiny little tit. Sorry.

    Work Christmas Parties....

Before I turned from Digweeds Trousers into Ruperts Flan I had a very bad experience at a Christmas party. I realised that drinking stella at 11am and carrying on all day and then trying to get to Withdean was a very bad idea. I don't go to Christmas parties ever now. Not for over 10 years.

This is why I love NSC. Something appallingly put together, shockingly edited for spelling mistakes and grammatical faux pas, turns into a very amusing thread. For that reason Tim Thick and Dim would never go into my Room 101 on NSC. The only time I would stop reading his work is if the great...

Pre-match opera? Great idea. Said no one ever.

Wasn't Nigel Green in Khartoum as well - with Charlton Heston - i think he played a minor role in the film - but a major character from history.

Pre-match opera? Great idea. Said no one ever.

i am really looking forward to this. Absolutely love this sort of thing. Thoroughly entertaining and always nice to listen or watch professionals in their field perform. Marvellous.

    Paul Barber

I have to say the more I hear from Barber the more I warm to him. He comes across as a very switched on guy who knows exactly what he is about. I was really impressed listening to him - even though he had to deal with some inane questions. We all need to show our support and start to get the...

    Jozy Altidore to sign today/tomorrow

Interesting how fickle people are. Noone - can't cross, too lightweight will never be a premiership player Upson on joining - he's clearly finished and no use whatsoever. He can't last a season and we will do well to get 10 games from him. Barnes - League One player - if we have any...

Britain and our place in world football

It's sad that I have not watched one full game in this world cup. Italia 90 when i was 20 i was absolutely glued to it. Footballs changed and in a way I have changed with it - almost subconsciously. I used to look forward to the Big match on a Sunday. TV games were an event. Now its a...

[Albion] Kit reveal at some yet-to-be-determined time in the future

to avoid getting worked about this Ive devised a really helpful method. Feel free to plagiarise if necessary. I've made an assumption that it may be blue. Or white. Or something with both. With American Express written across the middle. It may have blue in the shorts. Or White. And on the...

    Hayfever advice?

I suffer badly. I used to take clarityn, piriton all the usual chemist stuff. Then couple of years ago had a steroid injection and it dealt with it - but not something they will do more than once it seems. Anyway - next door neighbour told me to set the alarm and take clarityn or any of the...
