    [Misc] Hedgehogs

We also get loads of different wild birds in our garden too, encouraging them a lot with feeders etc but using the Merlin app I sat in the garden for an hour and there were about 30 different species visiting or nearby. It was really something quite simple to appreciate!

A hedgehog has started visiting us in a suburban street in Hove, can’t remember the last time I saw one other than in the countryside. There are a couple of parks etc nearby but not sure where he lives. We have some gaps in the fence he can get through and we’ve now been leaving food out which...

[Albion] Yet another club to increase ground capacity….

It’s an ambitious plan by the current owners to regenerate a whole part of the city, an area that which would currently make Moulescoomb look prosperous, which has opened up by the availability of a near 80 acre site ripe for development a stone’s throw from the current ground. 62k is to get...

[Other Sport] Birmingham City Football Club

108 points, with 1 game to go, a new EFL record. Well done Blues. They had a big budget, but as Manure, Chelski, Everton etc will confirm you’ve got to spend it wisely for it to make any difference!

    [Albion] 42 years today…

Remember they laid on special trains from Hove that talk you all the way to Highbury and Islington. Stood there in the Clock End from about 1pm in the hot sun, no hat, sunscreen or sunnies!

[Cricket] The Ashes Downunder 2025/26 - Top Tips

This whole ‘Australia wins its game’ form of English. They use it all the time, even about teams like Liverpool ‘Liverpool is’ rather than ‘are’ when talking about the team. And you could argue they were right and we were wrong except they are completely inconsistent with it and seem to vary...

[Cricket] The Ashes Downunder 2025/26 - Top Tips

It’s rare that we go there with high expectations, probably only once since the late 80’s. I suspect we will lose, but doubt it will be a 5-0. I‘d go more with a plucky 3-1.

    [TV] Race across the world

I’m wondering how all the teams will cope with all the lack of infrastructure, unreliable transport and general third world conditions, but once they are out of Heathrow they should be fine 😀!
