Not a great fan at all of Elton John and his big hits but his Tumbleweed Connection album (1970), with no hits, as a play-through album is absolutely beautiful. Same for Joe Cocker. His Stingray album (1976) seems unknown but as a whole-album listen is a blinder.... but I don't like anything...
I feel as bad as I did at the Kelvin Morton game, as I did at the 5-0 at Selhurst and the 2-0 playoff game..... But it's just internal, I don't think many Palace fans are that bothered by the rivalry tbh. So feck em. It does make us want to do better and, for me, them fecking up the possibility...
I can't believe you are serious? Losing to Palace would be very embarrassing for City. I fully expect a strong team and them to go for it today in 90. I don't get all this doom and gloom that it's inevitable that Palace will win, they've fluked their way to the final so far.
One thing I must add is that when I watch a game as a "neutral" I don't mind VAR much and may even applaud the "technically correct" decision. But that's because I'm not invested emotionally in it. And football caters mostly for TV viewers now ....and i'd bet that many millions of those fans...
Bin it purely because I have lost some of the joy of celebrating a goal. I preferred being annoyed about a "wrong" decision after the event.
I expect AI will go on to ruin the human game of football further.
This is a bit niche I know 😄 but a family member is looking for participants in research, to complete her doctoral thesis. If you know anyone who may be interested can you please forward the details below to them, many thanks.

I love football because of the glory, the drama and the panto villains, so..... I shall definitely be watching this one! Cheering madly for City without any irony (normally can't stand them). I hope Grealish plays as I used to dislike him but now changed my mind, so come on Jacko play a...
Yes I remember that day and the film. When we had a "fire safety" video at work that showed it pretty much in full some 30 years later, I had to walk out because of the emotions.
Shockingly sad day.
You'd think people who do this kind of work would appreciate and love nature but in my, admittedly limited experience of them, they often seem to just like...... being destructive.
