    [Misc] Electric Cars

Agree. It's great. Absolutely love the Pop Yellow colour. Car of the year no less. Also, it is genuinely well priced (relatively speaking) for a brand new EV which is refreshing and made in Europe too. I imagine loads will be bought as company (tax perk) vehicles.

Perhaps the portable backpack beer people can be portable urinal people as well... just a thought?

I'm not an EV driver but this caught my eye.. what a terrific relaunch of an old fave... https://www.renault.co.uk/electric-vehicles/r5-e-tech-electric.html

[Albion] List of players that have gone backwards under the current coach

Not disagreeing with you at all there. Forgot to add that. There are many factors and players falling below basic standards at times is another valid one. Hopefully it all clicks beautifully next season!

[Albion] List of players that have gone backwards under the current coach

If we'd have had the good fortune to be in the latter stages of Europa this season, I genuinely would have fancied our chances of winning it. Noticeably weaker than our last 16 line-up (which was more Champions League than Europa).

Agree with all that. It's in such a prominent position and very open plan, literally dominating the view as you walk from the train. And let's face it.. we're not exactly Millwall are we, so the temptation is quite strong for opps fans. Would add Villa to the list of undesirables as well (the...

Suspect this 'away fans welcome as well' rule may change after Leeds visit town next year.

[Albion] List of players that have gone backwards under the current coach

Yes. I'd say it was a very freakish year to have the title and relegation race kind of sorted by January/early Feb. The original comment was more about the league in general, not our league position – which as you say is looking quite comfortably consistent over the past four years. The bottom...

[Albion] List of players that have gone backwards under the current coach

All valid points. Such a strange season for the league in general and a glaring opportunity to fill the void usually occupied by the traditional big clubs (also a year with three of the worst promoted sides in PL history). On the flipside, it's been great for ourselves, Fulham, Bournemouth and...

    [Albion] Matt O Riley [26/08/24 - sings on a 5-year deal]

Not sure if he’s playing within himself due to the injuries with us so far? But agree, looks very lightweight currently. Out of possession game is really poor with opposition players ghosting past him too easily without a challenge. Wasn’t particularly impressed with him on the ball either...

[Football] Come on villa, give us a goal!

Plus Fulham and Villa chuck in two appalling performances. Worst I’ve seen Villa play all year. 4 or 5 nil would not have flattered Palace today. Fair play they took their chance. Lucky, lucky run though. Who’s best placed to stop them? City or Forest?

[Albion] Brighton win or Villa win?

Lots of points to play for still even if West Ham does not go our way. Judging how this season has gone so far.. we'll end up with wins against Toon, Liverpool and Spurs and maybe a win/draw at Wolves. Gut feeling says this euro last place chase will go right to the final game with plenty of...

[Albion] Brighton win or Villa win?

This. Can't think of a more depressing scenario than that lot winning a trophy before us – and that in turn denying us Europe. They look quite dangerous to me at the moment, well capable of beating Villa on a one-off day at Wembley. I don't want them having a sniff in a proper cup-final.. where...

[Albion] Josh Duffus, reported interest from Marseille and others

Completely forgot he came on in Athens when myself and the boy were out there. (Amazing what 14 pints of Mythos and some tear gas can do to one's memory ;)).

    [Albion] Buonanotte and Enciso

Agree with all this. Buonanotte has a very high ceiling. Just needs some more regular PL games and to get a bit stronger. Eye for a goal too (which is sorely lacking at the mo). Enciso is treated like some demi-God figure back home, (like a Paraguayan Maradona), which hardly helps his already...
