    [TV] Fallout

I think that probably highlights the point I was making. People unfamiliar with the game might not like the tv series. Maybe because they just don't like it, and maybe because some of the game/franchises subtle influences on the series aren't picked up on. But fans of the games have probably...

I don't think gaslighting is the right phrase there.

[Football] The Non-League Football Thread- 2023/24 Edition

I'm sorry to see him go. I think it was always going to be tough season after losing Razz and Taylor. But actually they're going to finish respectably. However I think next season next season at the Pan is going to be very difficult.

    [TV] Fallout

Frustratingly Fallout 4 has always been buggy. Which is a real shame, because it is an amazing game. I've always found the area surrounding Goodneighbour, to be particularly problematic. It's worth persevering with though and just making sure you save regularly. In terms of the TV series, the...

[Politics] If there were a General Election tomorrow poll

Have they actually ruled it out? I know there's widespread support in the party, that has translated higher up to "we'd open to a conversation about it" (maybe that's just my naivety/optimism thinking they might). There's also part of me that wonders if they are keeping quiet on it before an...

[Politics] If there were a General Election tomorrow poll

One thing has occurred to me about this election is that we may never have a vote like this again. If Labour win, will they make any electoral reform? There seems to be large support across the party to change the voting system, but more hesitancy higher up. Presumably because a Labour win...

[Politics] If there were a General Election tomorrow poll

I actually think that's the best approach. Overall I think we have a severely flawed system, where the parties don't represent us very well. If you can vote for an MP you think will make parliament a better place , then I think that's much better than voting on party lines for someone you don't...

    [Politics] Liz Truss **RESIGNS 20/10/2022**

I would argue that is just another example of how shambolic the tories are. In theory, the parties pick the leader.

    [Politics] Liz Truss **RESIGNS 20/10/2022**

The last 9 years just demonstrates what a shambles the tories have been, because they've picked the leader every time and then turned on them quickly.

    [Politics] Liz Truss **RESIGNS 20/10/2022**

They do pick their own leader. Every single one of them has been picked by the party. And then we get to vote on which one we want as PM.

    [Politics] Liz Truss **RESIGNS 20/10/2022**

The irony being she was an unelected prime minister. It's galling to think she can still claim up to £115,000 a year in expenses for being an ex PM.

Ha ha oh yes. Sorry about that. There's a lesson for me, don't hastily try to reply to posts while juggling a million things before going to work.

That's what i thought he was saying. Maybe "i" didn't word my reply very well. Apologies if that's the case. I was just trying to point out he didn't say "Vietnam had a comparable nuclear threat".

In fairness I think the link is badly written, I don't think he conveys his point clearly.
