Yes, Coach and 'Orses (as the locals say) is a cracking pub.
I would also recommend the Fat Cat and Canary further up the road. I gave them call on Wednesday and they are happy to serve away fans.
Last time I met Wardy was on the last day at Withdean.
I remember the stunned silence as he walked into the Evening Star, post match.
I had a great chat with him and his missus.
My throat felt sore after the match on Thursday. Though I put this down to singing, and maybe inhaling vape/cigarette smoke in the stand.
I've got a few sniffles and slight sore throat today.
I'm flying out on Wednesday morning on the 1115 Lufthansa flight from Gatwick. 2 hours in Frankfurt airport before heading down to Marseille.
Anyone else doing the same?
Yes, like a little kid on Christmas Eve.......
I think work might be difficult tomorrow.....
Might have to play the end of season montage again..........
I visited Marseille back sometime in the noughties. Not a football trip, but a short break to see Radiohead in Nimes.
Enjoyed my few days in Marseille, watched a Tour de France finish, and can remember looking around an excellent Roman museum in the city.
Can say much about the nightlife, as I...
I used National Express on Saturday night to get home. £14 for a coach to Gatwick wasn't too bad.
Will probably do the same for this Saturday to get back to Crawley.
Are you sure if this Robster?
Second year running there was no bag drop at Preston Park. Runners had to leave finishing clothes at the race village when picking up their number.
