Swindon, but used to be Manila
Had his contract terminated at Spurs a few days ago so is available on a free.

He's an attacking right-back so if we signed him he could play when Lamptey is injured. Then the world's slowest man Pascal Gross wouldn't have to play at right wing-back, and we could play Veltman at centre-back.

Thoughts?

I hope that’s not having a go at Gross, that guy has one of the top assist records in the Premier League
He might not be fast but he has skill and foresight to counter that.

Yes, he is prone to rash challenges, the odd gaffe but he also offers much going forward and is powerful. One offsets the other and he'd improve most teams outside the European places.

One of those player that seems to have at least a mistake a game in them. Let Arsenal have him.

Aurier is labelled as a liability because of some high profile errors, but so was Joel Veltman in the Netherlands. We haven't seen a single one from him. I've always felt that Aurier's weaknesses are more exposed in a back four. He's a better wing back than full back and he is usually good for 5-6 goal participations a season. Surprisingly, considering where he has just left, he has been linked with Arsenal. They would probably look a lot better with him and Tierney at Wing Back and White, Gabriel & Tomiyasu in a back three.

Haha, my 2 Tottenham mates at work say he is.

As a Season ticket holder I am saying he isnt

He makes mistakes, but his mistakes are highlighted more than others because he is deemed to make them every game ( he doesnt)

You dont have 5 goals and 12 assist at full back in 2 proper seasons worth of games if you are rubbish

I would imagine you are right. They are not season ticket holders, although they are supporters who still go occasionally.

League cup final last year he was was outstanding, he made a foul on Sterling and they scored from it - that was his fault apprently and not Sissoko who lost Laporte and let him have a free head.

A bit like every goal being Ryans fault

As someone pointed out above he is more suited to a RWB, or as a 4 when the left back stays

Wouldn't he also break the "no dickheads" rule?

What is the evidence he's a dick head?

FWIW (nothing) I always thought he looked decent (out of our league).
