Bloom & Barber are driving this, well ahead of the law and football norm.

Suggest emailed questions to them, as to exactly why.

Chatter/rows on nsc lets off steam, but doesn’t give the definitive answer in Bloom’s mind.

Presumably will just say this - which is how they’ve argued it in on the website

They say that’s it to keep a) fans safe b) to continue to allow for as many fans in the ground as possible c) but predominantly to get their processes refined in time for Oct 1st when they envisage it will be mandated by the govt. d) and the photo iD is to prove that the test /Covid pass info is from you

Sarcasm/anger that ID at games wasn’t required when the tickets went on sale, but the club have just added that requirement.

Surely it isn't the club who are making these rules it is the Premier League interpretation of Government rules.

What am I missing then from this post from Gwylan?

My point- some seem confused, is this poster confused or am I missing something?

I'm not confused at all. My original post was from yesterday before the club posted its statement - everything is clear now

Just to put my mind at rest as I’m losing the will to live, were you slightly confused in your original post from yesterday about ID ?

Yes it’s in the blurb that it gives them time to fine tune things …we’ll have to wait n see how the politics of it all play out

Didn’t sound confused……G was just stating that it hadn’t been confirmed as a requirement anywhere at that point…….

Yes, because people were talking about ID but there had been no statement from the club about any need for ID. The club have now rectified this

Can’t understand the uproar in this announcement. The only people that should be dissatisfied are those that have paid for a ST and not double jabbed. Specific to ID’s most people probably had these in their wallet the last time we were at full capacity. You might need to flash it at someone. That’s all.

Things may operate slowly but without these policies we wouldn’t be going to the Amex and we’d be stuck at home or in a pub watching on TV. Let’s be thankful.

There are currently no Government rules in place in respect of covid passes or id to attend football matches.

However there will be rules so the club are putting in place interpretation in advance so everyone gets used to them.

I’m confused that I thought some others were confused and I turns out they weren’t actually confused after all…..:moo:
I don’t know what anyone is on about on this thread anymore :)

Own up. Does this announcement change anyone’s view on not getting pricked?

Aside from the odd person with exceptional circumstances, it's hard to see much wrong with this in the name of keeping everyone safe.

Really, to me it looks as if several fans want to find offence in this post Covid era and how the club react
