Indeed. An incredible deal is what Leicester got from Man Utd for Old Slabhead. This transfer made Liverpool’s acquisition of VVD look like a bargain.

Old Slaphead was injured and then has been playing next to average CBs for too long. I think he’s a world class defender. They’ll buy Webster in a year or two. They would be hard to get past.

comparing him to varane is nutty.

guess gotta love the bants between utd and arsenal tho.

saw this guy is without a club and looks decent https://www.transfermarkt.com/tarik-muharemovic/profil/spieler/679423

There’s no context. Arsenal are buying a ball playing England international for the next 10 years versus someone who’s been playing in some steroid-funded experiment; a jumped up version of the SPL. Of course he’s won league titles. It’s like two sharks hunting in a pool of goldfish.

And with their ridiculous salaries, they bought CL titles. Their extraordinary debt will probably be paid off by the government in some sort of loan from the government…..again.

He’s a good player but is he markedly better than White (23) at 28? No.

Lazy sensationalism.

I was a bit annoyed he’s going to Arsenal as I have a few mates there. But I think he’ll do exceptionally well there. It’s a good club with fans who’ve been a bit screwed over in recent years. They’ve produced some incredible teams with the likes of Bergkamp (my favourite ever PL player) and I think Arteta is building something quite impressive!

Fans screwed over?

They have never in their existence been screwed over. If you mean their glory hunting has been a bit dented, well my heart bleeds.

Bless the bluds

Of course in the grand scheme of the footballing world they haven't been screwed over.

But they do pay the highest season ticket prices yet been left behind on the field. I imagine that's what the poster is alluding to

That's a bit like me claiming to a famine stricken person that I need others to rally with me because Waitrose have stopped selling organic pears.

Are any of the people reporting this transfer 100% reliable?
He's staying, Isn't he?
