However given their particular brand of “humour” I’d say both low ranking (probably dockyard mateys or a pair of snotty’s ) and both serving sometime between mid 70’s to late 80’s.

Simply because you totally ignored the question when it was first asked. To be honest, by the time I had asked the third time even I'd lost interest in what the answer was
