If (when?) Italy beat us with a similar level of 'clever play' (diving) there's going to be a shed load of pizzerias boarded up the next day

A come from behind win isn’t a bad thing at this stage.

Also think it’s actually good that we’ve conceded, weirdly. If we went into the final having not conceded, then let one in, it would feel a bigger blow mentally, I reckon.

Exactly this!

Mental strength gained I feel from rising to a challenge and over coming it. Better than almost waltzing into the final with a clean sheet still to our name.

I'll take that.

Got to say Walker and Shaw have been men of the tournament for England to date! Both have been outstanding...

Disagree. Up until our last game and tonight, in which he was excellent btw, I thought Walker had been our weakest player.

Over the whole tournament so far, Sterling is our best player for me.

I think Walker’s been immense, our constant saviour in defence when CB combo’s have been torn apart, appearing from nowhere to mop up or put the clean-through striker off.

Agreed, Sterling has been magnificent.

Easy enough to see where the beam was coming from.
I thought those things were illegal.

They are.
We had that problem at Rotherham. I spotted it, and reported it to a steward. To be fair, their stewards took it seriously, and went off to inform the others in that stand.
