That was a bit cheeky from Cav it has to be said. Sitting two riders up with the line in sight is a bit iffy. I bet he wouldn't do it to Pete.

When those two trains turned into the middle of the road, I was a bit worried.

This Cavendish renaissance is heavenly for me, I love the rider and character.

I’d never written him off, but had assumed that probably the next gen of young gun sprinters now had the power.

Helped of course by his incredible lead out team :bowdown:.

A true sporting hero, absorb it now in real time.

Agreed.

I thought that those days of screaming 'Come on Cav!' had gone. But I've been sucked right back in there.

In the days of Wiggins and Cav we were utterly spoilt. I loved Bradley, but Cav always had it in my eyes.

To me, he's one of the greatest British sportspeople ever.
