How come people have only picked up on one spoof account but missed the OP? Lever may be the first recipient of a double woosh in the shortest time.

I don't "love" any newspaper.

Same here. Some of the 'red top' headlines make me cringe when I see them on the newspaper stands.

They've all got their own agenda, usually political - and if I want 'news' I've got lots of free apps on my phone if I want to be depressed.

Sad that to get clicks or for someone to part with their hard-earned for a paper it has to be outrage, anger, indignation or tragedy on the front cover.

Most newspapers have agendas .

The Mail and the Guardian are two of the most extreme examples at opposite ends .

The mail peddles the view that Brexit was good for us , Germany should still not be trusted mainly because of the war , Young black men are in the main uneducated, aggressive and a danger to society . The royal family are all great except if the mail has an exclusive negative scoop , immigration is generally bad for the country etc

The guardian peddles the view that Brexit was terrible for the country , Iran. Russia & China can’t be trusted, Israel is always in the wrong because we all support those poor Palestinian people . black people are still terribly downtrodden and most people are still racist . Immigration is great . The royal family are a waste of space and should be got rid of .

Both extreme views , one right and one left . Is the Guardian any worse than the Mail ?

Nice work El Pres. I used to dislike your spoof PPF but it now amuses me that it catches out some intelligent posters on here.

That is probably why it has never caught me out.

If you have the accounts of your actual wankers on ignore, only the spoof accounts can post into your line of sight. It always gives me great pleasure to see kindly, and otherwise sensible, people wagging a finger at an imaginary fiend. Perhaps I am a nasty little shit after all ??? :lolol:

No you're just a bit of a drip for putting on ignore tons of people you don't like.

It's one thing putting trolls on ignore but when you've got as many as you have on ignore, it says more about you than it does anyone else. Especially when you tediously mention your ignore list on every post.

At the end of my tether
“Is the Guardian any worse than the Mail ?”

Totally different in journalistic style and standards. I can read The Guardian website while ignoring their anti government views. It is still a decent paper . I cannot say that of The Mail.

How do you know how may people I have on ignore or who they are or why? Who are you to tell me who I can have on ignore or not? And if you don't like it when I mention it and feel the need to dig me out . . . . you know what to do ???

I shan't be putting you on ignore because I like your posts. We can all be needlessly irritable tits from time to time

West is BEST
It has one purpose, If one ever wishes to see why the country is in the state it’s in, have a quick flick through The Mail. Don’t linger thought, it’s painful

If I buy a paper its 95% related to its sports section, in which case I'll mostly get the Guardian in the week - unless its a Tuesday or a Friday, in which case I'll probably get the Mail cos I like Martin Samuel. Today I'll probably get the Sunday Times as I like their sports pullout and their Culture mag, which has a good TV guide for the week ahead.

Complicated innit.

It's a paper that supported that supported Nazi's. That's all you really need know.

I think this sums it up for me; it still attracts some people with vile views and confirms them in their opinions.
