It’s coming home!!!

Also...Godfrey almost with a clanger. Would never happen with a Brighton centre back!

After watching the France v Wales highlights this morning, I have to say I feel sorry for the Welsh lads.
Not just for the penalty decision and the sending off, but mainly because of that performing seal (Pogba), who did his utmost to influence the ref IMO, such a ****

Mid west Wales
Winners France

Plucky Semi Finalists Turkey

Shock group stage exits Netherlands

England , same as usual , make the Last 16 and lose to a team like Poland probably.

Got to love the Dutch. Things are already getting infected, as usual. De Ligt and Depay both complained in TV about Frank de Boers 5-3-2 tactic.

Think they are going nowhere in this tournament.

Spain vs Portugal tonight - noises that Sanchez may play, and Luis Enrique has reiterated that Sanchez could play in the tournament.

You’d start him ahead of De Gea right now, wouldn’t you?

I really thought Belgium would finally win a major trophy but with Kevin De Bruyne and Eden Hazard picking up niggling injuries, I'm not so sure now. Whatever team they put out will be decent but they seem a bit short at 6/1 given the open field to this tournament.

Turkey could have been an interesting dark horse at 66/1 but they seem to have gone off the boil in the last year or so with results and players form.

Any goalscorers that stand out at a fair price? There's going to be a record amount of penalties IMHO.

Lewandowski 25/1?

........... and just to add some derision to the proceedings ............. remember how cr@p Paul Ince was as a manager (and a pundit, whenever anybody has been daft enough to let him near a microphone)? Well, now on Sky Sports News he's come out with a cracker. Replacing TAA with Longard or JWP he doesn't agree with - he thinks we need strengthening our options at the back OK so far ................. He'd go with Godfrey rather than White because he's more versatile!

Did the cretin not watch Godfrey's and White's debuts against Austria? Does he not follow football at all? Words fail me at the incompetence of this idiots analysis. I could do better - and I (like most fans) know relatively F all about football!

The guy that posed in a Manchester United shirt while still a West Ham player? The papers had a field day and the Hammers were relegated in the final match at Liverpool. I can't think of a footballer that was hated with vile for so long. Bullets through the post, death threats, spat on, unable to walk the streets he grew up in without a bodyguard. Of course, the Inter City Firm were rumoured to be ringleaders. Good job there was no social media back then! Incredible that he did this in 1989 and West Ham fans still chant "We hate Paul Ince!" Even when his son played at Wembley in the play-off final for Blackpool ten years ago, they booed him all throughout. Football fans have very long memories. Oh and Scott McGleish is still a w*nk*r as well.

Apart from Macclesfield Town I cannot remember his managerial career.

Maybe. I could see him score against a weak Slovakia and a weak Swedish defense... at the same time, Poland often shit themselves in big tournaments.

I would go with Gerard Moreno, Lukaku or Depay.

Christian Eriksen for Denmark at 80/1 if they go deep in the tournament caught my eye. I think he might be on penalties. Was part of the team that won Serie A for Inter Milan this season. He's struggled with the language barrier and wants a return to the Premier League. Class player.

I think that was it!

I googled him and two spells at MK Dons for one year each time and a disastrous final stint at Blackpool. Nothing to match his undoubted talent as a footballer. First ever black captain for England in 1993.
