Yep. I’ve said it before, there is absolutely nothing at all between White, Dunk, Webster and Veltman ability wise, they are all at exactly the same level which is why we’re generally so good defensively.

Disagree. Dunk is by far the better player. Veltman never lets us down.

I’m not convinced that White and Webster are consistently playing at the level they should be. Webster doesn’t look fit and in recent weeks has given the ball away too cheaply. After all the hype from Leeds, White has done well but is nowhere as good as Dunk (yet).

Don't agree.

Dunky head and shoulders above.

It didn't show today as West Ham were piss poor ... but he is

No, don’t agree. Before his injury Webster was outperforming Dunk and White has been at the same level most of the season. Veltman has been the best of the lot this season.

Because of his stature at the club and reputation amongst the fans, Dunk gets away with a lot. He’s been excellent lately but was poor for the first few months of the season. We didn’t miss him tonight.

Dunky was never poor ... that's a bit of NSC bollocks which seems to have somehow got traction... or if we he was, only by his own standards ... which are well above the others around him.

Agree with Veltman though. If we were only playing two centre backs, to me it should be Dunk and Veltman

Another disappointing match ending/result, which I didn’t use 4 hours of my time on.

Hard to spit cause and effect, but one silver lining of lockdowns for me is missing 14 months worth of almost wall to wall Amex draws and losses for us.

Two main things, defence solid without Dunk, Webster stepping up; Tau needs to start the two remaining games, for me he’s been a little shortchanged by Potter

Proving my point about Dunk getting away with it with the fans. He was poor.

I love Dunky like everyone else but I don’t think he’s anywhere near much better than the others, that’s blue and white tinted specs for a club legend. At the end of their careers, I think Webster and White will have gone further than Dunk. I think they’re both potentially better players.

I thought we did OK with a depleted side against a top team and thought we'd do well to get a point before starting. I also thought it was AJ's best match for us. Whilst never really a fan, I'm not so sure now as he does offer something others don't.

Whatever it is hopefully the stripes re appear next season!
Close ups on MOTD showed that the pathetic little drip of a stripe is still there - but with you, I want us playing in proper Brighton shirts next season. We are bloody lucky to still be in this league wearing the relegation season replica shirts - don't want to take that risk next season!

Dunk had a poor couple of months this season, talk of England seemed even further away at that time.

Shirley it’s not NSC taboo to admit these things.

But in the recent run in, he’s been imperious.

Cant think of many positives. Another game couldnt hold on to lead. To be fair there forwards were in so much space when getting ball they were always likely to score. To go forward we cant have Gross and Moder as WBs or Burn as a WB or defending out wide. A positive was Alli playing well out wide 2nd half but we already knew that. Some strange reason Potter played him central 1st half.

They had 3 shots on target ,we had 2.We were the better side in the second half, first was pretty even. Who would you suggest as wing backs out of our uninjured players? Gross and Modor were wing backs in our 3-0 win against Newcastle.Anywhere else in the pitch, Formal has fouled both Webster and White in the lead up to the goal, it should have been out freekick.
Draw was a fair result.

This year, he’s only had 3 dodgy games. Wolves x 2 and Man City. Not anyone better in the second half of the season.

Damage was done August - December 2020 as you say.

Who knows about the future, but at this stage of their careers, you are wrong. Dunk is much better. That's not the fan's view, that is statistically the case: https://www.whoscored.com/PlayerComparison

As well as Ben White's view: https://www.brightonandhoveindepend...his-mind-and-makes-bold-england-claim-3224863

and Adam Webster's view: https://www.theargus.co.uk/sport/19275548.adam-webster-says-lewis-dunk-deserves-england-recall/

Although the club sold more of this kit than any other, don’t think the stripes will return for a while.
