Anything but a Newcastle win for me.

I think we almost certainly should be safe. But whilst it’s not mathematically so I would rather teams below us continue to lose.

This. I'd rather teams below find it harder to catch us, than making it easier for us to catch other teams.

This is the kind of game you’d want to show to Faithless, better than a sleeping tablet.

Football weekly were laughing about hiding this monstrosity of a game, and WBA, on the schedule.
Then asked 'whats the worst fixture'.

The consensus was WBA v Newcastle.

At which point Max said:-

"You're being incredibly generous to palace". lol:

My word Newcastle are shit, I still think they are in big trouble, Fulham are equally dire but something about Newcastle this season makes me think they are destined to go down.

Newcastle seem to have a lot of players who havent realised theyre in a relegation scrap. Coasting through games, and losing.

I haven't written off fat Sam yet, they had a great result last week and if this result stays the way it is and a couple of good results for West Brom and the bottom will look very interesting, (hope not)

Newcastle’s remaining fixtures...

West Ham
Liverpool
Arsenal
Leicester
Manchester City
Sheffield United
Fulham

If they don’t get points today they are going to have their work cut out to find too many more until the season finalé.

More ‘dangerous play’ nonsense.

So let me get this straight, that isn’t a penalty/foul but Bissoumas one earlier in the season was a foul AND Red card? VAR :lolol:

Correct call as there is no way the defender knew the bloke's head was there. But was that different from Biss getting sent off at Newcastle? Both had feet very high and looked dangerous but both were entirely unintentional.

Sure, but how many points are Fulham getting from:

Arsenal
Chelsea
Burnley
Saints
United
Newcastle

Maybe 2 or 3 before they play Newcastle?
In reality Newcastle need to not lose to Fulham to stay up.

Goes back to what I was saying yesterday about this ‘dangerous play’ being a human interpretation, it’s a stupid rule really, at the time Tarkowski will have made the decision to use his foot there how is he meant to know an opposition player will stick his head in there?

It’s the same as the Bissouma one, it’s deemed dangerous play because he accidentally connects with someone but if you do that and don’t catch someone, it’s not dangerous play?
